Stabler Arena

Though various sprting events, both college and proffessional take place here, I know it mostly as a concert venue. Lately not many shows have taken place here, but it's a great place to see a concert since the space is rather intimate for an arena, so almost all the seats are good and you never feel miles away from the stage. Their concession offering leave alot to be desired, but as a Lehigh University facilty you can't ask for too much. more

What I like best about Stabler Arena is the varying array of what passes through. At one time of the year you can watch the Eagles practice, in the Spring you can visit various booths at a Home Show, there is an auto show at another time and always a host of entertainment. The entertainment varies from kid-friendly (like Sesame Street Live and the upcoming Care Bears) to the Shrine Circus to Christian performers, upcoming bands and other sporting activities. Stabler will soon be home to the new Lehigh Valley arena football league which adds an additional element of excitement. I recommend visiting their website and checking the calendar to view the upcoming events. Prices are reasonable and although the arena is older, it is not so large that it is impossible to see the stage. more

During the winter, this sports arena is home to the Lehigh University basketball teams. At other times throughout the year, it holds other events. A wide variety of artists have played concerts at Stabler. The arena holds shows to please college students, older adults, and families alike. Popular musicians and shows like the Lipizzan Stallions can be found just a short drive away at this 6,000 seat facility.
