They do not honor their warranty s and are INCREDIBLY rude . I had my battery for 4 months and twice I had problems with it completely dieing for no reason then when it got cold out it quit working altogether so when I went to take it back they told me that it voids the warranty if the battery freezes. I have never heard of this because that s why I paid extra for a 10 year warranty, I am not taking my car battery out after every use are you freaking kidding? Also, EVERYONE I know has batteries that work just fine despite the weather so they just have a shoddy product, never have I had so many problems with a battery. more

Unsatisfied Customer! 3/16/2010

I visited Spfld Battery to have a bad altenator removed from my car so I could take it back to the original place of purcahase and swap for it for a new one and then to have Spfld battery reinstall it. Well, my experience at this location was one of the worst I've had in my life. The service I recieved from some of the employees there was below acceptable. They spoke to me as if my vehicle was not as important as the other cust they had and attempted to make it seem as if there were doing me a favor b/c they were only charging me $40. (The price they quoted and if that was not the cost then you shouldn't have quoted it to me!) Unfortunately speaking with the manager about how reckless his employee spoke to me and his unprofessionalism was not very helpful either b/c of course he barely apologized for the actions of the employee (his son by the way) and honestly what I recvd from that conversation was that i was basically wasting my time. I would never in life reccommend this place to a more

Springfield Battery Co is the best. Period. 11/4/2009

I fully suggest this business over any other. Local, friendly and extremely helpful. I bought a battery in March and didn't realize it was the wrong one till April (the book was wrong! and I didn't bring in the old one...). They exchanged & gave me the difference with no problem. Awesomeness. more
