I HAVE GONE TO SPOTOS MANY TIMES .I MUST SAY THE FOOD IS THE BEST AROUND.I LIVE IN WESTCHESTER AND I TRAVEL TO THE BRONX JUST TO HAVE GREAT FOOD WITH FAST SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF. Top Notch! 4/23/2012

I was extremely pleased with my overall experience at Spoto's Restaurant. It truly is FINE DINING at its best! I was impressed with the impeccable service and cozy atmosphere. We were personally greeted by the owner, Peter, who was very attentive to all the customers needs! The food was flavorful and plentiful. I was Sso impressed and satisfied, that I returned the following day to book an event in their banquet room. If you are looking for authentic italian cuisine, this is the only place for it! more

Italian food at it's best TT&ET 8/12/2011

This restaurant is nothing short of Wonderful. Went there last week for their lunch special. The salad was delicious as was the soup and the lunch entree was really really excellent and to top it off coffee and a canolli are included with the lunch. My husband and I have been there many times for dinner which is excellent. They make a really good Martini which is my husband's choice and I like the wine - I switch back and forth between red and white and I have never been disappointed. I have several friends from Westchester come to the Bronx to enjoy this restaurant. Owner and staff are excellent and we highly recommend. - Enjoy more

Great food and fun atmosphere 3/7/2011

I went for drinks this weekend at Spoto's and wounded up staying for dinner. The food was fantastic; I definetly reccomend the chicken parm. The drinks were flowing and everyone seemed to be having a great time (staff included). I will 100% be going back. more

Spoto's Is The Place! 12/19/2010

We hosted a party of 70 at Spoto's and felt like we were in our own dining room. The service was GREAT and room was decorated for the holidays beautifully, there was plenty of room and the food was DELICIOUS (and plenty of it). The gracious owner Peter made sure that our every need was taken care of! Short ride from Harrison. Can't wait to spread the word. more

Never had a good meal there, always a problem with their specials - doubt they could handle spagetti and meatballs without screwing up or overcharging... sorry, never again. more

Three times in a row I've had an issue with this restaurant not delivering on an order. Either they are having "issues with delivery" or they just decide that they want to close early for whatever reason. Extremely unprofessional. I will not be ordering from them again, ever. more

total bs 5/10/2008

I was originally told my order (large gourmet pizza that I was picking up myself) would take 45 minutes. When I got there they hadn't even put it in the oven. I went back 15 minutes later, waited another 5, and was given my ""order."" I was charged $20 for something that was supposed to be around $12 or $13, according to their take-out menu. When I got home I found my pizza was a plain cheese pie. Are you kidding me?!? The final insult is that this thing doesn't even taste good. Never again this crapshack! more

Spoto's is a great dinning experiance if you want a romantic dinner with your wife or a wonderful time with your friends and family. The portions were big, the food was wonderful, and the service was impeccable. The staff and the owner Peter paid great attention to detail in thier service. If you are looking for excellent , Italian food this is a sure bet. Spoto's distinguishes itself from the other Italian restaurants in town by creating a friendly and enjoyable environment. The menu offers more than traditional options with big portions and at a great value. Not to mention, as an Italian myselt, it tastes no different than homemade. That being said, the food and the friendly staff outshine the rest. more

Average food, huge portions 4/3/2008

I am a SIcillian-American, and grew up eating the food from my heritage, made lovingly in my mother's, aunt's and cousin's kitchens. That said, this is a very average ""red sauce"" joint. The portions are HUGE, but the quality was not amazing. The wine list is not good--there is a very small choice and not good quality. The owner is friendly and attentive, but the wait service was not. We were left wanting water refills, drink orders, more bread, and the check--but we were pretty much ignored once the meal came out. Another reviewer called this ""fine dining"" and it is not fine dining. The decor is ""old school"" 1970s style and very casual at that. The Sinatra music was blasting so loud out of the speakers that we practically had to shout to converse. It is good, decent, average Italian food, but not formal, or fine dining in any way. It's just a cheap-eats type place. Pros: Large portions Cons: Not great food, inattentive staff, music too loud more

Superb Experience 3/31/2008

Wonderful food, service, and ambiance. The wine list is something to write home about, and the decor was very relaxing. We had a nice time at this restaurant. The Lobster Tail Marinara was wonderful! And the owner was SO nice! We look forward to having our parties catered in the future by Spoto's. Little Italy might be over-rated with Spoto's in the mix. Terrible Everything 11/26/2006

From the second you walk into Spoto's you are practically ignored. The service is bad, and the food is even worse if you can believe it. You would have a better night eating a frozen meal. Cons: bad service, bad food more
