BRIGHTHOUSE NETWORK OVERCHARGES DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE 6/13/2012

I live in Clearwater Florida and called Brighthouse Networks to resolve an issue, I am on disability and I spoke to John, Id 43c. and asked him if the company had a plan that would be cheaper for me, bundle like I have with internet, cable & phone. In the past year they have been charging me for directory assistance $1 per call. This has been going on for the past year & I am on low income. When I spoke to John today he stated that they have a plan now & have been in effect for 1 year and they never.....advised me about this & I believe not telling anyone elese about this. In this economy people are hurting for money, food, ect & your company is asking for a $1 per minute directory assistance calls. Don't your people have enough money & care about the people that keep you working. You need to change your policy.You are making enough enough money on the customer, what elese do you want? Blood??? Show some consideration & decency........ more

The digital stations rarely work. Customer service is absolutely useless. This company needs to stop being so cheap and lazy and install equipment that functions consistently instead of whatever rusty junk they're using now to carry signals. Cable companies suck up to local officials to get exclusive neighborhood contracts so they do not have to have good customer service or business practices to get people to sign up. They're the only cable gig in town. Try U verse or something. Get an aircard through your phone company for internet service and rent videos. more

I wish there was a way to explain it, but the story would go on and on. Bottom line: they screw you, they disrespect you, condescending, patronizing, and down right arrogant. If you have the option use anyone else... I even considered going back to dial up internet. Do yourself a favor and don't use Brighthouse. I pray every night that they go out of business! Bright House Networks is AWFUL 6/20/2009

I've had the brighthouse service digital service since May 08. The service has never worked properly. I call weekly to get techs out even have a tech that lives in my neighborhood telling me his service doesn't work, yet they keep billing me and threatening to cut off my service. Brighthouse is the only service other then satellite available in my area and we have too many trees. So I am between a rock and a hard place. I wouldn't recommend brighthouse to my worst enemy. BUYER BEWARE!!!! The service truely sucks more

Scheduled Appt Completely Ignored 3/3/2009

Although the customer service specialist was very helpful over the phone, the service call scheduled was completely ignored. I called making sure that I would receive a call when they arrived and never received a call. A call to them was made at 3:30 saying that someone still didnt come to our home to fix a cable interruption. We had an appointment from 12-4:00 and nobody ever showed up. Taking a day off of work or other priorities is always a problem...especially when nobody shows up at all!!!!!! After no one showed up I made a call at 4:15 and they said the computer log said a technician had been at my house at 3:52. This is completely false. A mere phone call saying they would be late or would reschedule would have made me less upset. I tried contacting the Corporate Office but unable to do so, but still trying. This is the worst cable company, alongside the horrible cable service. Honesty is a virtue and I think things were falsely added into their computer saying a visit to my house was made. If notice in the morning was given to me, a whole day would not have had to be wasted. This is the most ridiculous situation I have had to deal with. Unfortunately, no other cable service providers are in our neighborhood and we have to stay with Brighthouse. I would rather watch our tv with all of the interruptions than have to waste and spend a day like my service call day. \r \r The telephone customer service representative was very helpful and polite, alongside the supervisor who helped me greatly. I do appreaciate that a great deal. It's all very frustrating and having representatives there to assist me made the situation much better. more

WORST SERVICE EVER 9/12/2008

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I ever had to deal with. They came to install my phone and told me the system was out of service and someone would call me back in few hours to provide my phone number and activate it.\r As you can imagine, they did not call me.\r I've called back more than 10 times and never get an answer on what is going on.\r The attendants are rude and love to put you on hold.\r By email? They don't even read your message!\r It's been a week and guess... I still don't have my phone working!\r And the worse: I have already paid for the phone this month!!!\r \r DISRESPECTFUL!\r \r \r \r \r \r \r Cons: customer service does not work. And believe me: you will need it. more
