Miserable experience 4/16/2011

On March 5, 2011, a wine pourer at DeLille left his station behind the tasting bar upon my entrance and started gesturing and loudly accusing me of not paying for my previous tasting only two weeks prior in front of a crowded Saturday tasting room. \r \r Fortunately, DeLille was my first winery visit so my guest and I were completely sober when we were confronted. The experience was still hostile and shocking. \r \r I recall he had followed me out into the parking lot concerned I hadn't paid the $15 tasting fee and I had, my pourer then was a young blond woman. Since I had paid and addressed his questions I left thinking the matter resolved. \r \r A week and a half later on March 3, I returned and decided to try their wine club. \r \r Guilty people do not return right away, pay $181.33 for four bottles as a new wine club member, then return again that weekend *with a guest* to be physically intimidated and publically slandered. \r \r A middle-aged female employee appeared and advised me to contact DeLille management, since they were very busy and had to resume pouring. \r \r She informed me that my new membership was not in their system, and that only one tasting with guest is allowed per quarter. I definitely was not told that upon signing up only 3 days earlier, or know why she found that relevant since my guest and I were told very directly we would not be served. \r \r • My wine membership was charged on March 3, but I was not accounted for in their system by March 5th. \r • My accuser was not a pourer on the mid-February weekend that he admitted he had to “check” to determine if I had paid. What does “check” mean? \r • I emailed DeLille management the following week. No response.\r \r Despite their dubious system of accounting, DeLille was unwilling to consider a misunderstanding may have been made. \r \r How DeLille handed this matter is preposterous. May no one else ever be subjected to this treatment, or have to witness it. Exceptional wine accompanied by human decency and professionalism abounds in Woodinville. more

Good wine, avoid the chateau. not good for weddings 11/16/2009

Beautiful grounds, smaller functions only. Having 1 small dank cold bathroom with no exhaust fan makes for an unpleasant experience. I would purchase this wine when on sale but not attend a release or function here due to the inconveinent and smelly facilities. Pros: very good product Cons: only 1 small cold bathroom, very expensive more
