Spanish Point Apartments

I love my apartment but dealing with the office is hell. I am trying to switch to a more affordable unit now that my lease is up and they are trying to make me pay $1,000.00 just to move to a smaller unit.... WTF. They are rude and unhelpful. Its like they want me to stay in an apt. I can't afford so they can get hundreds of dollars of my money in late fees cus I'm stuggling to pay the rent in my large apt...or hoping that I can't so they can evict me. I don't understand why I should have to pay so much when my lease is up anyway and I'm just moving to another apartment in the same complex... Can someone please explain their logic to me cus I just can't understand and I feel like I'm being screwed over after living here a year. If I could afford to pay $1,000.00 right now I would just move to a nice complex. They act like they are some fancy new apartment complex. My A.C leaks constantly and floods my bathroom, they don't put in work orders when you call, I have drywall falling off the walls around my living room window, baseboards that have disintegrated from a leak around my living room window and front door that they never fixed after fixing the leak, with all the water damage I have in my apartment I'm now worried about black mold and other health issues for my 5 year old daughter.... DON""T MOVE HERE EVER unless they replace the office managment!!!!!! more

Nancy Villatoro is a racist against blacks. This lady is very rude and do not know how to talk to people. I would not recommend this place to anyone. She is a liar and has many issues one being she rents to illegals. more

The office staff is terrible, very disrespectful (Nancy Villatoro). I've never rented a place that you cannot see before move in date, the model looks nothing like what you're getting. The apartments are full of roaches, repairs are needed on somethings such as windows leak of cold air pouring thru them and problems with bathroom toilet. Overall they are not too bad I've seen worst. I think they are in need of a better management staff and definitely more professional office staff. more

This is one of the worst apartment complex ever. It has been 7 days without hot water, and when you ask them when this issue will be solved they don't have idea. The laundry room doesn't have enough washers for the residents (only 4 washers per complex and only one is working). The apartments have serious roach infestations (at least no bedbugs so far). Noisy place, children up and running pretty late at night without parent supervision. more

I moved to spanish point not to long ago and i love living here. The office staff is great. The move in special of $59 total move-in was great. This place is a complete hellhole. 99% illegals occupy the complex...possibly including the maintenance staff. Somebody was actually hacked up with a machete earlier this year in the bushes and someone was shot to death a few doors away from me! There are unattended children running around outside and in the parking lots...sometimes well after midnight. People throw their garbage around the dumpster instead of actually in it, and the parking lots smell awful because of it. The apartments are located behind a wal-mart neighborhood market, and people bring the shopping baskets back to the apartments and just leave them sitting around on the sidewalks and in the parking lots, it makes the apartments look even trashier than they already do. My husband and I had one truck stolen, one truck broken into, two trucks spray painted, and 3 other instances of general vandalism. The hot water was shut off for almost 60 days this summer, there are broken windows with glass on the ground all over the complex, and numerous vandalism crimes. My entire upstairs bathroom plumbing is screwed up, things are installed backwards and upside down, and when I first moved in, I found a used syringe on top of my closet shelf! There are no security measures taken here and it's just not worth it. Trust me, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! Pros: The only pro I can think of is that its conveniently located near 635. Cons: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many to list! more
