I am also very happy with this daycare. Choices are somewhat limited in the East End and when I finally found Spaceland I new that was the place for us. Their prices are very reasonable and more importantly I know the staff truly cares about the kids. It is a old building that doesn't have some of the frills of the new daycare facilities but the staff does keep it clean and sanitized. Wholesome home style food is provided for all the meals and even the pickiest eaters will clean their plate. If you are all about appearances then you need to find somewhere else, but if you are looking for a safe loving place for your children... Spaceland is great! more

was in need of a good day care for my 2yr old son. I found this daycare and decided check it out. I was greeted in a friendly manner by a lady name Jackie and she made me feel welcome. I explain to her that I was interested in putting my child in a daycare. She proceded by letting me know the prices and the hours of admissions. Then she told me that I was welcome to stay and see how the children are being taking care of. I stay for a while and liked the way the children were treated. I told Jackie I was going to bring my son the following Monday. When Monday came I was anxious and worry because it was my first time leaving my son in a daycare. To my surprise he took the instructors hand and did not cry at all. The next day that I dropped my son he cry, but Jackie explain to me that it was normal that he will get used to it. I letf worried but 20 minutes later I received a call from Jackie she called to let me know that my son had stop crying. That afternoon when I went to pick my son up I found him happily playing. It has only been a week that I been leaving my son in this daycare but I felt the need to share my experience. I love the way they treat my son and for this reason I recommend it to anyone in need of a good day care. more

This is the worst place ever!!! It's dark, dirty and not to mention the unfriendly staff!!! At the end of a school day, all ages are mixed together to watch one small 19 inch TV. In the ""gym"" there are at least 30 to 40 kids and only 2 staff members taking care of the kids. As you walk in, you'll see at least 6 people in the office conversating and not taking care of the kids or at least watching who comes in and out of the facility. The staff doesn't even acknowledge the parent as they pick up the children. It's an awful place to have your kids at! It's hiddious!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!
