Until recently, this practice has been very satisfactory. Within the last three months, however, this practice has changed its principles by the attempt to transfer a part of its overhead onto its patients. In a unilateral decision without consulting patients or prior notification, this practice now charges twenty dollars for "infection control" which, I have been informed, means sterilization of equipment. Most dental practices, as a matter of principle, do not charge for what is essentially overhead. South County Dental has started doing so and has severed the patient-dentist relationship with me over the matter. Dr. Traub is a very good dentist. But the principles of his practice leave a lot to be desired. A business lives or dies on trust, and trust is formed from adherence to principle. This practice has lost my trust and hence the rating.
