Recently I bought a car from Brian of Sorensen Towing & Auto Repair at his place of business. When I met Brian to look at the car, I discovered the clutch was not operating correctly; each time I depressed the pedal it would stick to the floor. He claimed the clutch cable simply needed lubrication to work properly, but he didn't lubricate it because he didn't have the proper grease on-hand. He suggested that I simply degrease the clutch line, then buy some grease and lubricate the line. The engine seemed to run great and the price was right, so I relied on the owner's claims that the clutch repair was simple, and bought the car.
