Editorial Review 10/28/2011

This museum explores the world of communications and high tech. Here you can experience performing open heart surgery, find out on advances in medical imaging and how robots think and act. Learn the basics of animation, test PS3 games or build one of your own. This is a place popular with both kids and adults. Admission to this place is absolutely free. more

Sony Wonder Tech Labs 6/25/2006

I stumbled over Sony Wonder Tech labs a couple of years ago and I'm glad I did. I take my kids and we all have fun. They have four floors of learning centers and booths and games and there's something to see in every corner. Sony Wonder was designed to teach children education but my kids have so much fun they don't even notice they are learning as well. more

Have Fun Learning About Technology 4/5/2006

Sony Wonder is a great place for kids to go to, but will also entertain adults if they are interested in technology. When you enter a robot that responds to your questions greets you. Later on you will see the person who controls the robot. You get a card that you scan at each exhibit you go to. At the end you will get a certificate that tells you which of the activities you completed. You learn about audio, video, and other applications through hands on exhibits. Some exhibits include mixing sounds, editing a music video and helping a doctor diagnose a patient. The best part is that the admission is free. more

Sony Wonder Tech Lab is an fun museum that teaches adults and children about technology through interactive exhibits. It has about four or five floors and the entire museum is free. Exhibits include editing a music video, experimenting with audio, playing video games, making a movie trailer, mixing music and learning about some technology that doctors use. There's even a giant bubble machine maker. They even have a theater that shows movies periodically. Again everything is free!!! more

They also play free movies sometimes but you have to check their website to find out dates and times. I recommend for anyone who has kids or is on a limited budget. more
