Don't look for the entrance directly off South First. Go around to the back under the tall trees for access to this charming neighborhood cafe. Inside, the atmosphere is casual with tables, muted colors and glossy wood finishes. The menu changes regularly and focuses on fresh, seasonal items from local organic farmers. Dishes run toward Asian flavors and Mexican standards including fried avocado stuffed with queso fresco and mushrooms, green chile cheesesteak and orange pork tacos. The majority of entrees can be made vegetarian upon request. And as a bonus, the cafe is BYOB despite a large bar in the dining room.
