i have been a patient of Dr.Sobel's for many years. I have had fillers and moles removed. all with great results. Also have come once a month for facials with Lucy. She is so great. She makes your skin feel so refreshed and it is very relaxing.th staff is very nice and can get an appointment with no problem.\r would recommend coming to this office. more

I was very satisfied with my visit to Dr. Sobel. I had two fraxel treatments for my age spots and the results were dramatically better. My overall experience was wonderful and the whole staff was very attentive to me whenever I needed help. I would highly recommend anyone to this office whether it be cosmetic or medical dermatological problem. more

Dr. Sobel is fabulous! My face has never looked so good. I had Botox for crow's feet and Restalyn around my lips and the hollows of my cheeks. It was virtually painless and his staff is amazing. He is very attentive and checked in on me several times before and after the proceedure. I was a bit swollen and his nurses gave me cold compresses to help with the bruising. My experience was great and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Suzy F more

Suzy F. I went to Dr. Sobel for Botox and fillers. Not only did he do a fabulous and fairly painless job,he was sweet,concerned and spent a fair amount of time with me . I was a little sore after the procedure but that went away overnight. His staff is fabulous and the wait time was short. I would go back in a heart beat. I've had Botox and fillers before but I had the best results with Dr. Sobel. more

While I was there I also had the best facialI have had to date. I loved it so much I bought a package and plan to go back monthly. My husand told me I was glowing when I got home. amazing office 4/10/2012

I went to Dr. Sobel's office for a facial with Lucy at the recommendation of a friend. She noticed a dark mole on my shoulder and went out to get one of the nurses to look at it. She told me that it needed to be looked at by Dr. Sobel. Although the office was very busy they fit me right in.Dr. Sobel even takes my insurance. There are very few Park Avenue doctors who take insurance anymore.Dr. Sobel said the mole needed to be biopsied and he did so right then. It turned out to be a skin cancer and I am very grateful for the quick and efficient care i received at at this office. more

Dissapointing 4/2/2012

Seeking an attentive, reputable and well mannered professional dermatologist took me to this doctor by referral. What a DISAPPOINTMENT!! His staff was professional, attentive.. and sweet all the way.The wait time was reasonable, BUT THE Doctor NO WAY NOT worth the time or money. He was brief, inattentive, STRICTLY $$ MINDED and what a nasty, condescending mouth to his sweet professional nurse. Maybe a wannabe ""society doctor"" but Not human. Could be heard through the walls about how much he is paying while the schedule light. This is not the patient or staffs problem!! more

Dr Sobel might be an excellent dermatologist and be the king of Botox BUT don't ask him to do stitches... if you need an intervention where an incision is necessary, go see another doctor. Maybe, he doesn't do enough interventions with incisions and lost his touch... the fact is, his stitches left me with a very ugly scare. more

Best Botox 3/19/2011

I needed a pick me up for a wedding but did not want to do anything surgical. Dr. Sobel suggested some botox on my forehead and juvaderm in my cheeks to make me look less tired. The change was just great. I was so happy with the results. Dr. Sobel was efficient and professional. I would recommend him without question. more

Perfect Botox 2/15/2011

I was recommended to Dr. Sobel by a friend who has been going to him for over 10 years.He explained to me that some patients prefer to move their forehead a little and some want not to move at all. Since this was my first time we decided to let me move a little. He stressed that he would check my forehead the next week and if i wanted a little more he would adjust it. The next week I returned and decided I wanted to move less and he touched up with more botox. He told me he always encourages his patients to return after treatment in the next few weeks for any adjustments as he would rather do too "little" than too much. I am thrilled with my results more

Worst Botox ever!!! 1/26/2011

I have my doubts that the previous reviews are real. My botox experience with Dr. Sobel was the worst ever. My major problem was that I have wrinkles above the eye browns but no gabella problems. Sobel told me that to make my look more natural he should have shot also some botox in the gabella area. Given that gabella was a different area from front head I had to pay two areas so I ended up to pay 1000$ for less than a syringe. This is very expensive but would be still ok if the result was excellent. But it was exactly the opposite ... In order to raise my eye brown he accentuated my natural wrinkles and I finished up with more wrinkles than before and with and horrible Fake expression (mr. Spock like!). it was the worst result I had in years, paying 3 times the price!! AVOID HIM! more

Dr. Sobel is an Effective Workhorse & Gets the Job Done 1/11/2010

Dr. Sobel has high expenses to pay so he is brusque. At first this turned me off and then on my second appt. I realized his treatment was working and that he doesn't care so much about bedside manner but just getting the job done most effectively and with no B.S. hot air. If you like to chat you won't like this place but if you want to get good advice and no embellished truth then go to him. He never lied to me. I went to other doctors with better bedside manner and they really exagerated the results I could get and after doing research I realized Dr. Sobel was being upfront and doesn't have time or need to B.S. me into treatments that won't work. Go ahead and shop around and you'll notice that Dr. Sobel won't tell you what you want to hear but just tell it like it is albeit very fast. Pros: Knows his stuff; won't BS you Cons: Very quick but he's got rent to pay more

Expert in botox and injectables 11/22/2009

Dr Sobel is excellent with botox and fillers. I would not go anywhere else. I have referred my sister to him and she had a similarly good experience. He is extremely capable, very courteous and a pleasure to see. There are occasions when you will have to wait for him but he is well worth it. more

WOW! 3/25/2009

I went to the office to calm down my ruddy red skin. Since Dr. Sobel knew the condition, went quickly to the treatment options in my case a facial and laser. Quickly handed over, the office staff, understanding , patient, prepared my for the laser and facial. Lucy gave the best facial I ever had. I walked out of the office renewed, Someone that knows.The front desk is abit kurt due to the volume, but they are not rude but multi tasking..THE BEST SKIN EXPERINCE IN MY LIFE. My advice is to go. I have a few visits to clear it but I Know I will walk out with optimal results. Pros: Best I have been to Cons: takes insurance but leans toward cosmetic carry payment more

best botox 2/20/2009

I have had botox done before and looked ""frozen"". Dr. sobel did it so I could moove my eyebrows a little so it looked very natural. Very relaxed atmosphere in the office. Loved the waiting room. They have every magazine you could think of. Pros: they take insurance for medical problems Cons: you want to do everything more
