Really an exceptional experience, especially if you are new to the whole injectable world. From the first time I walked in, 2 years ago, I always felt comfortable. Absolutely no airs or pretense. Nicole, the owned is always friendly and available to discuss any of the treatments they have. I started getting Juviderm injections a couple of years back. Dr.Liakeas is really an artist. He did exactly what I wanted, I always look great, nothing extreme.\r I had my first Botox injection this past week, again, no fake frozen forehead or eyes, I'm very happen, once again, with the whole Smooth Synergy experience. more

My Favorite City Spa! 6/22/2011

Ive been comming here for about two years for laser hair removal and facials... well the owner who is very nice had welcomed me when i came for my appointment.. she looked so tan and it wasnt really beach weather latley so i asked her how she got so tan. she mentioned they do organic spray tans and that they last up to a week or so. i deceided to try it and it was wonderful! its not that orange paint on machine spray that a lot of salons have u stand in a booth and it just squirts at you. a actual person is like spray painting your body and then drying it to make the tan even. i loved it! the laser hair removal is also wonderful the package prices are great because you get more for your money and if theres any problem or questions that need to be addressed theres a doctor on staff to help with any needs. def recommend to anyone looking for great treatments! more

My One Stop Shop! 11/10/2010

I honestly adore this place! I've been coming for laser hair removal for a little over a year, and am seeing great results (and the technicians are really sweet and understanding). In October, I decided to get a Spa Week facial to see how it was. I have been absolutely dedicated to the same facialist at a different place since I moved to New York, but I thought I'd give it a try. Oh my god! Tamara was so great and I have never had skin that looks or feels like this before - amazing! So now I go to SS for laser and facials - that's already a lot. But last week, I finally took a serious risk - I got Botox in my forehead. I'm only 29, so it's not like I really really needed it, but I'm sorta bothered by these three lines and I've been thinking about it forever but was a little scared. I figured that SS hadn't done me wrong yet, so I scheduled with Dr. George. He was so great - really made me understad everything and made sure that I looked ""less wrinkly"" not frozen! Anyway, to sum up this incredibly long post - I really love Smooth Synergy and highly recommend them (sorry for taking so much time to get to that point)! more

I Love This Place! Great Environment Great Doctor! 11/1/2010

I received my first botox/juvederm treatment at Smooth Synergy and I loved it! I saw the owner first who talked me through EVERYTHING. Any question I had, she answered. Once I decided to go through with it, Dr. Liakeas was great! He really eased my concerns. In fact, he talked to me all throughout the treatment! Really kept my mind off of things! Everyone LOVED my botox/juvederm after. They knew something was different about me, but they couldn?t tell what! I am DEFINITELY going back to them next time. more

Overpriced injectibles from a family practice physician 10/1/2010

I was referred to the salon by a friend. I thought I'd try botox or juvederm... but the prices compared to more experienced doctors were unjustified. The owner, whom I'd met in the mid-90's looks nothing like her former self. Would you believe during my consultation she repeatedly (like every 5 minutes) looked at herself in the mirror. Bottom line: the owners are skimping as the place is cramped and in need of a makeover-and the prices are completely inflated for a venue that looks nothing like a 'spa.' more

Great place to get botox and juvederm!!!! 8/14/2010

I was very apprehensive about getting Botox and Juvederm. I heard of Smooth Synergy through many friends who have had good experiences. My biggest fear was I would look frozen or my lips would look unnaturally big. When I went in, I met with Nicole, the owner of the spa, who gave me a very thorough consultation. She told me what to expect and sat with me through all of my questions. When I went to see the Doctor, I felt better and was ready. He assured me that I would look natural, not frozen and that my lips would look great. He also took the time to sit with me and give me all of the attention I needed. Once I was done, I didn?t regret it at all! I was able to come in for a follow up appointment and they even called to check in on me. There aren?t many places you can get great service like this. They pretty much hold your hand through everything and told me if I need anything to just call. more

Facials changed my skin 6/28/2010

Tamara at smooth synergy was referred to me by a good friend. she promised me she would help clear up my skin, which was always breaking out but MUCH worse in recent months. years of dermatologists, creams, antibiotics, considering accutane, etc. and finally after about three visits ,my skin was clear. its so smooth and healthy, i almost cant believe it. she reccomended two products that i use daily to keep my skin looking its best between visits. more

New Yorks Best Spa for injectables 3/30/2010

I went to this spa for botox and at 1st i was scared but once i started talking to the staff and the doctor i felt more confortable.They answered every question i had made the treatment fun and not so much like okay your here for a treatment lets get u in and out, they took their time and attended me very well!Loved it recommending this spa to all my girlfriends. Botox...great 2/19/2010

I have tried many doctors in NYC, some that are written up about in the beauty and fashion magazines that are supposed to be the best, and have been disappointed with price and the work! Dr Liakes is amazing.. First and foremost, he knows how to get the muscles in all the right places so their is no droop. This is my eight visit, and each time, it looks great. The office is conveniently located one block south of 57th Street so I can sneak away during lunch hour, and no one would ever know. His prices are great, and if you go to the botox parties he has, prices are even less. Also, they have amazing spa with facials, massage, and even lasers for hair removal. Did my underarms and six visits I was hair-free! Next month is a blueberry facial, I am so there, my skin is miserable from this cold. I give a thumbs up and I am very particular and yes, difficult to please! more

A Fabulous Experience! 12/30/2009

What a wonderful, professional Doctor! I was in such capable hands. The results of my botox treatment were outstanding. I have never looked better. The spa is a Godsend. I have had numerous treatments in addition to Botox, including microdermabrasion, a spray tan, and vein removal on my legs. The entire staff is courteous and well-trained. Don't get Botox here 12/6/2009

This is a family practice, do not get your botox here. It took 3 months for me to look normal again. I said several times less is more but he gave me more botox than I have ever gotten before. It's cheap but worth paying more at a place where they are specialists. Pros: Friendly and cheap Cons: Botox job spotted from miles away more

Great Place for Injectable Fillers 11/12/2009

I researched getting Juvederm for an injectable filler for my lips, it took me 2 months to finally do it. i did some home work and looked at ratings and prices from different spas. Smooth synergy was highly rated and was actually cheaper then a lot of places with very low ratings. The liscense doctor who admins the treatment is wonderful.. takes his time and really tells you what you need. and not what they want you to need! Pros: Great Prices/Injectables more

i spent months and months thinking about getting botox. when i was finally ready, i went to smooth synergy (of course after doing tireless research) and honestly, it is one of the best things, if not the best, ive ever done for myself. it is absolutely incredible how smooth and beautiful my forehead is!!!!! i truly couldnt be more thrilled with my well-thought-out desicion!!!! the doctor ia an absolute professional and always keeps you informed about what he is doing during each step. not only did he make me feel so comfortable about the procedure, but it was almost painless!!!!! BEYOND DELIGHTED!!!! could not be any more pleased with the experience and the results!! Pros: my first botox experience was FLAWLESS!!!! more

The doctor at Smooth Synergy is so wonderful! I got Botox there and he's not only excellent at his injection technique, but he takes the time needed to explain the pros and cons of all the injectables there (I also do Juvederm, which is great for my lips), expectations and maintainence, etc. He's very knowledgable and patient. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is considering getting botox. more

They do not really care about you! 10/20/2009

Please do not come back here. This spa is obnoxious and they just want your money. I got the 'extraction' facial and the woman did not do a clean job. The areas which she picked became very dark and scar-like. One became worse and much more inflamed. This is not what a professional facial should entail. Cons: Bad Customer Service more
