I came to the doctor today to see about braces. Before coming I wasn't sure if I needed braces since my smile was good. I was treated exceptionally by the staff and the doctor.. no lie... they gave me an honest opinion about not needing the braces but after looking at my xrays the doctor honestly told me that the bones around some of my teeth were wearing away and that in years to come without thorough cleanings I was looking at problems with loosening teeth in the future. I was surprised that my regular dentist did not see this. Dr. Lagstein asked me if I was receiving regular thorough cleanings I told him just regular cleanings. He recommended me to take the xrays to my dentist and tell them to check that I may have problems in the future and to give me thorough cleaings more often-- I only had cleanings/checkups every 6 months. I thanked Dr. Lagstein and his staff for their honesty and definitely recommend them to anyone with questions about their oral health!! more
