Awesome place to go tanning! Best and safest beds in the area that give you great color! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I 100% recommend going to smart tan.

My Sunless tan session went great. They took the time to walk me thru each step and to answer all of my questions. I now maintain it once per week for just $11.99 each visit There is NO place offering that. I also do regular tanning every other week now that I learned so much about the benefits, especially to women, of moderate UV. The salon has a library of research available in their lounge. Oh my God! 3/29/2006

They have a Level 4 bed that I saw on E! Entertainment. It is incredible. It's said to be the safest, healthiest and most effective bed yet made. My experience was very good. Pros: top equipment, clean, reasonable prices more

I'll sum it up: Great service, knowledgeable staff, awesome equipment and variety, beautiful immaculately clean salon, great value with a price and plan for everyone, lots of amenities that I've never seen anywhere else. I see why their sister salon got Best of NYC (Somerville Journal). A Pro's Opinion... 3/18/2006

I work for one of the largest independent consulting companys rating service businesses in local markets. Were typically contracted by Chambers of Commerce to analyze select businesses, and their competitors, for acceptance into a local Chamber of Commerce. I wasnt working when I found this place, but theyre top notch. I naturally shop around before choosing a facility and the only other place that comes close is their own sister store in New York. ""Xtremely"" Impressed! 3/17/2006

I knew very little about tanning 2 weeks ago so I went to 3 different salons in the Somerville and Cambridge area. I was looking for the full package: fair price, clean, knowledgeable staff, and modern equipment (although I wouldnt have known the difference, I did read something in Mens Health that said this place Xtreme Tanning in NYC was awarded for their State-of-the-Art Equipment. It so happens that the local Xtreme Tanning in Davis Sq. is part of the same company with the same equipment). Anyway, Im a neurotic A type personality and I was Xtremely pleased. One of the most interesting things is that there is a pricing option for everyone. This place was the cheapest I found - they have a deal where it's just $3.99 per session - and that machine has two high pressure facials. CAN'T BEAT IT! If price, cleanliness, modern equipment with powerful bulbs that are changed frequently, and a helpful staff are all important to you then this place is ALL GOOD. TOP OF THE LINE! 3/8/2006

The salon is great! It's so funky and the equipment is top of the line. I have been tanning there for a couple of months and I have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is so helpful and prices are so worth it! You're sure to get the tan you want without any hassle and with plenty of extras. They have great lotions, many complimentary items to make your experience better like, free spritzs, lotion applicators for your back, in a skin care station, and intercom in every room. Someplace you want to be! 3/3/2006

It's sad that some people have to abuse the privilege of writing reviews. Anything negative about this place is guaranteed to be from a disgruntled employee(s) or shady competition because this place is first class. I?m in real estate so I know that one neighboring salon has closed down (Arlington Tan) since this salon opened three years ago, and three others (Sun Kissed, Sunshine, and Boston Beach Club) have either been turned over or are now up for sale . This Manhatan based company is opening their 8th salon located in Wellesley - that's got to tell you something. I don't know them personally but the owners always seem to be there and everyone seems to agree that they're clearly good people.\r \r Don?t be fooled by a shady competitor or disgruntled employee.
