Small Dimensions Daycare

I initially brought my child here after speaking with the owner and teachers, who were warm and inviting. However, I quickly realized that the care was substandard and there were clear violations of state laws. The major issues were:\r 1) There were not enough staff to care for the kids (for example there was often only one teacher there in the AM to care for 6+infants). 2) When I would show up in the middle of the day, there were sometimes random teenagers (maybe the kids of one of the teachers) walking around with their dirty shoes on in the infant room. 3) They used a an intense smelling carpet cleaner on their rug and my baby came home smelling like chemicals.\r I understand this is low-cost childcare and that some people have no other option, but this place had unacceptably poor care. Sadly this is not all that uncommon in WA. more

Small Dimensions is a great daycare. The staff is wonderful and take exceptional care of my son. We started there when he was just 3 months old and he is going on 3 years now. They have two sites, across the street from one another. One for infants and one for toddlers to Pre-K. more

I left Small Dimensions about 4.5 years when I had my third baby and decided to stay home. I had 2 other children be at Small Dimension from the time they were 6 weeks until they entered Kindergarten. If I had all the money in the world, I would love for those girls and Nanna Joyce take care of my last child as well. I still love to visit when I am in the area because I miss it dearly. And my kids love to visit as well and they are in 4th and 5th grade now and still remember. more

My daughter attended Small Dimensions almost 11 years ago and the staff was fantastic! They always took care of my child as though she were there own. The owner has always been an active part of the business and very knowledgeable. On any given day, even with the number of babies they could have at one time, they could tell me how my child was doing, her mood, what she ate, and her bowel movements (which I know a standard daycare keeps written documentation of). I have a tremendous amount of respect for this facility and am going to put my new baby there when I return to work. more

My son went there when i had to attend some classes. these people are just great. they did so many things with the kids and kept them happily busy throughout the day. One thing i am really gratefull about is here my son learnt to trust someone other than his parents. more

I love this daycare. I was originally going to take my child to Kindercare but there were problems encountered with that. At the last minute, Small Dimensions took me in. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. The staff is so caring and are overseen by the owner, who is wonderfully candid and dispenses excellent child care advice. I had to leave them so my son could attend elementary school in Redmond. I cried when I had to leave! more
