This restaurant has a cute and friendly atmosphere. My girlfriend and I tried the stuffed bell pepper, mango lassis, the greek lasagna and an Indian chicken dish. Everything was really good, and the price was so reasonable, that I thought they had made a mistake. In case you are wondering Siraj is a mixture of Indian food and Greek, the result is surprisingly good. I will definitely be going back. I just wish I lived closer. Pros: Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Friendly staff Cons: It's not a fancy restaurant- I think Cafe is a nice way to describe it. more

Good food, good value 9/23/2006

This is a great little neighborhood cafe, with wonderful food. There's something for everyone. Breakfast is simple and delicious. Lunch and dinner has Greek, Indian, and American options -- all wonderful. Their pistichio (spelling?) is the best I've had -- even better than fancy expensive Greek restaurants. The owners are a lovely couple and make you feel very welcome. All the food is homemade by the owners, who are always there. Their desserts are wonderful as well. Value cannot be beat. Pros: Great food, great value, great service Cons: Could use some music to create a little ambience more

We went there for take out lunch & the experience was very positive. Friendly fast service. Food was authentic and delicious. Prices reasonable for South End. I highly recommend the place. They need to advertise a bit more... more
