This guy deserves NO STARS, period. I met Bob through local networking - I thought he was a nice guy, so I recommended him to 2 of my friends. My bad. He way overbid both jobs, but after one friend balked at the bid, he offered a 10-15% discount if she really ""needed it"". My first friend told Bob she was accepting other bids. When she called to tell him he was not hired, he was a total jerk to her, and mouthed off to her with words I will not repeat here.
My second friend actually signed his bid, but called back the very next morning to cancel her contract (which is her right within 72 hours). Bob told her she called ""just in time"" because, allegedly, he ""already had guys on the way to her home"" (he said this at 7:00 a.m. the very next morning - when he never even called my friend to schedule her job!). He told her she was fortunate that he was still able to ""call them off the job"". What a bunch of crap! He wanted her to pay him $150.00 for his ""services"". Say what? When you bid a job, you don't get paid, and if you don't get the job, that is life, Dude! My friend was actually going to send him a check because she felt so bad. Even with that, he told her ""I don't do business with people who cancel contracts"". STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE, FOLKS!!
