SO FUN 2/3/2009

This place is really different - they will cater to whatever you want to do. Pool is the obvious draw - but they will allow for flip-cup, beer pong, etc. SOOOO MUCH FUN! Pros: relaxing Cons: can be quite crowded more

Great dj on Friday nights! 3/31/2008

I was there last Friday night with some friends and had a great time. We were playing pool and our waitress was really cool. It took a little long to get our food but it was worth the wait. The dj was really good. Props to dj Sneek, that boy was on fire!. He had us all going by the end of the night. Overall experience A+! Pros: Dj Sneek and cool waitress Cons: Food to a little time but not a big deal. more

BEST NIGHT OUT! 10/28/2007

Went to Shootz last Saturday and was impressed with the changes made.Visually, the first room has a restaurant and nightclub feel.Nice comfortable crowd. Then theres the pool room with plenty of tables but virtually no wait! We had a great dinner-the shrimp cocktail was fabulous,my friend had the mediterranian pasta, and that was delicious. The fireplace was going and there are plush couches to sit and enjoy the fire. The service was good- a little bit of a wait -but worth it.The drink specials were great ,food prices very reasonable . Radio D.j. GRIMM was playing, the server said he will be there every Saturday.Nice scene ,we had a good time and will be back...... Pros: free parking, spacious and comfortable, good food, cheap drinks Cons: short on q sticks more

Dishonest practices 6/13/2007

Made advance plans to hold a surprise party for my husband. When it came time to pay the bill there was an additional charge of over $200 for services never agreed upon. I was threatened with being arrested so I paid the bill so my husband's birthday was not ruined. The owner apologized when I called him later and kept saying the refund was in the mail. I have yet to be reimbursed. Save your money for a place that is honest and values their customers. Pros: none Cons: your money will be stolen more

Best kept secret on the South Side! 3/13/2006

Shooters is a unique experience with a comfortable atmosphere. Good food at a good price! The free poker games on Mondays and Wednesdays are my favorites. Free off street parking and free shuttles to the penguin games. There are many televisions and big screens to watch the games. Pool is a favorite, but the restaurant is the best kept secret on the South Side. They have a free buffet on Friday during happy hour and a 23 ounce beer for $2.25! On stage Kareoke and a Tuesday Talent show! See you there! Pros: free parking, nice atmosphere, good food Cons: smokey more

  • The Scene
Walking n the door the bar meets you on the left-hand side and runs 30 to 40 feet. With 10 beers on tap, you won't go thirsty. Comfortable couches and plush chairs adorn the rooms, as well as cozy fireplaces for the winter weather. But the most striking feature is the 18 pool tables that are constantly in use. A diverse crowd of pool aficionados, business types and college kids mingle in the bar area and rack 'em up at the tables. But this is definitely a more upscale establishment.

    The Draw
Looking for the casual pool game? Try an early-mid week visit in the late afternoon/early evening, tables tend to fill up quickly, and there are some diehards who tend to grab the tables for hours on end. For a more social (and cramped) scene, come on a Saturday night.
