my car has less than 1,400 miles on it; this was the first car wash; one of their guys retracts the power mirrors as he pulled it into the was; the kid who pulls the car out at the other end immediately grabs the drivers side mirror with 2 hands and pulls it open, , ignorant of the fact it was a power mirror. Now the mirror motor has a skip and a jump as the gearing inside is damaged. What an idiot. Then I couldn't let the kid with my truck out of my site, as I was also taking car e of my 4 year old son - that was really relaxing. When I call them to complain I get the runaround. they did a crappy job vacuuming as well as left hard water spots on it (black car) and streaks the minute i drove away. Now I need a new mirror and another car wash more

They crashed my car. They lied about it and then painted the wall that they crashed my new car into. They refused to let my insurance company on the property. STAY AWAY.. they are crooks.. more

Happy Anyone who complains about this car wash clearly has not been to enough car washes in around here. This place is definitely one of my favorites....I would not give them 5 stars otherwise. Always make my car look brand new. more

I give this place one star because they are excellent thieves. The employees of this establishment took items from my car and they were surprised when I asked for them back. If you wish to have your items stolen and still have a bad car wash, go to Handy J. more

This carwash, which I found on Citysearch was the best deal yet. Not sure if I wanted a detail or just the basic. Went with the detail for half of what the other guys wanted. The van I just bought from my nephew was full of dog hair and smell and also some cigarette smoke, it was a mess. It was filthy and that's being nice.\r I left it with this team of expert detailers and they ""literally"" made this 1998 vehicle look new inside and did the best they could with the outside ""it's missing a fender and the windshield is cracked"".\r The person 4 years ago that had a bad visit well, that was 4 years ago. The guy in the window was very friendly and engaged me in conversation about his business and the town. I ended up having him wash my other vehicle also as the wife and I were in town picking up the other vehicle. I highly recommend Handy J Carwash and will use him again when in the area. more

I have been taking my cars here for at least 20 years, I once had some cash come up missing, but I figure that is my fault and I almost always have cash in the car so one time five years ago in 20 years is pretty great and they do the best job by far! Pros: Easily located! more

No one anywhere in any city does a better job! I have been going there for years and the quality is consistently high. Article after article give Handy J rave reviews, and even though I now live on the Westside, I always find a way to work in a wash and occasionally a detail. The details - by far the best value in LA. I have two dogs and they travel often in the back of my Hybrid SUV and let me tell you the car (despite almost weekly or at least once a month wash) has hair, hair everywhere. Like magic the car looks better than the day I drove it off the dealer's lot. Great discount coupon book deals. Tried other places that were recommended but was always disappointed so that is why I come back. Nice people and quick service. Hands down Handy J is the best! \r There is a covered patio area with a roof just as you come in where you can sit and wait and tables, and chairs with umbrellas next to it, and they wave you to come over to the drying area when they are finished. The guys working there are hardworking and do a decent job on the car, however, the guy in the cashier's booth is rude and hostile. Been going here for a while and I've had enough of the poor customer service by this guy. I'm changing to a place where they do a decent job and they value their customers. Whomever owns the place, assuming it's not this guy, needs to reevaluate who they hire to deal with the public.
