In ShortOpened as a piano bar in the 1940s, the brown panel walls of this dive are covered with beer banners and newspapers documenting different momentous occasions in history. On most nights, regulars gather at the long, narrow bar and set the mood by slipping dollars into a jukebox. The occasional catfight has been known to break out. The bottom line here is the drinks are cheap and the people, for the most part, are friendly.
