The atmosphere is pleasant, inviting and non-condescending. The presentation is a ""no hassle"" presentation. The layaway option makes upgrades to your current equipment very tangible. Chris was very personable, as well as the others, but he stands out as an asset to both the business and the specific location. Thanks Chris for the experience! I went to the best sewing store is all I can say. The Conroe store has experienced employees and for one is Sara. She knows about all the sewing machines and I had a great experience with deciding on which machine I needed without pressure from a sales rep. She made sure I got what I needed and also made sure that I could go home that night and be able to sew with it. It's a great sewing machine (Janome 6600) and I recommend anyone to visit our new store in Conroe, Tx.. Thanks again Sara and I will visit the store again soon. more

I've just experienced this store. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve my serger problem. The told me a few options and let me chose the one I liked. Haven't received my repaired serger back,however am very confident that\r it will run and operate as good as new. GB more

My wife and I went in with our 35+year old Singer that my mother had given us for our wedding. My wife was making baby blankets for our new grandchildren when it quit. As I feared, the old plastic/nylon gears had rotted/stripped away and we were looking at the cost of a new machine for repairs. Tricia was extremely helpful and patient, since from our perspective things in the world of sewing machines had changed dramatically. She demonstrated the machines we had questions about, allowed my wife to work with the different machines. Tricia is extremely knowledgeable about all the different brands - I don't think we asked a single question that she wasn't able to provide answers or information about. No high pressure sales and actually pointed us to a refurbed second hand Janome MC9500 as an economical way to ""enter"" the world of the higher end embroidery/sewing/quilting machines. She also signed my wife up for classes and membership for the local Janome club. They are also setting up some one on one sessions for new Janome owners - even though it is not a sale for a new machine. I don't think either of us could have asked for a better experience or more knowledgeable/helpful staff. more

The service and staff are exceptional. I had three machines serviced and cleaned there. I returned with two of them to get help and was amazed at the undivided attention given to me and my machines. Pleasantly surprised that the cost of this minor adjustment was part of the fee I paid when having those machines serviced and cleaned. A GREAT place to trade. more

Great, knowledgeable service from Tricia and Richard, without any high pressure sales. They have a good trade-in program and will also give you a great trade-in if you upgrade your machine following a purchase from their store. The best feature is the one hour hands on lesson with your new machine. They also let you try it out before you purchase it and give you instructions as to how to thread it before you leave the store (great for us neophyte sewers!) more

I just purchased the Janome Memory Craft 9900. LOVE IT! Tricia and the other staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sale. The prices are reasonable and often better than their competitors. It is well worth your time to drop by when looking for a sewing, embroidery, or quilting machine. more
