The Best of the Best!! 7/16/2011

Words can't fully express my appreciation for Serge, Barkev, George and the rest of the crew at Serge's Automotive for the outstanding service and professional care they have demonstrated over the 10 years I've been bringing our families cars to be serviced and repaired. You are treated as a family not just a client. More than once Serge has lent me his personal car to use when mine was being repaired. Growing up I learned it was important to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. I've found just that with Serge, and will be taking my cars to him and his crew forever! more

Saved me Thousands $$ 5/27/2011

I rarely write reviews, but I am so happy with the service that I telling everyone I know about Serge's. I took my BMW to Serge's after hearing from another mechanic that I probably needed to replace the engine. I was not happy, so I went to Serge for a second opinion. Serge and his crew investigated the ominous white smoke and determined that I just needed a new pcv valve. I saved about $4,000 by going to Serge. Next time I'm going to Serge first. more

A mechanic you can trust 4/3/2010

My entire family has been coming here for about the last 15 years because it's so difficult to find a good mechanic you can trust. Serge and his excellent staff are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We have brought several different makes and models of automobiles over the years and Serge's Automotive is equipped to handle anything. Prices are always fair and the work is impeccable. Even if the shop is not the most convenient for you, it is more than worth the drive to La Cresecenta. I live in Santa Monica now and I still bring my car there! If you want piece of mind 2/20/2010

I've been taking my cars to Serge's for service for the last 8 years...and will continue to do so. I live over 15 miles away, but I take my cars to Serge's for piece of mind, which is what I value most when getting my car serviced. They are honest, efficient, reliable, and some of the nicest people I know. I recommend them to ALL my friends and family. Pros: Honest, Efficient, Reliable Cons: 15 miles away in La Crescenta more

A better place does not exist!!! 2/19/2010

By far the best mechanic I have ever been too. Use to take my car to my own uncle but once trying out Serges automotive I don't even take my car to my uncle anymore. Serges gives the best prices on parts and labor and do a flawless job on everything I've asked them to do for my car. They are very nice and trusthworthy and do a quick and quality job everytime I take my car there. Have never been dissapointed and will continue to take my car there as long as that place is still open. Highlyyy recommended!!! more

Best Auto Repair in La Crescenta (and Los Angeles) 7/6/2008

This place rocks! They are probably the last honest auto mechanic around. We have been taking our cars to Serge's Automotive for years, and would not trust any other mechanic. They treat us like family there and are straight up with their prices. \r \r The mechanics here have many years of experience and actually care about the customer, especially because this is a family-owned shop. Best in the business....... 6/20/2002

On a scale of 1-10 this business is a 20. Frank's Auto is really owned by Serge, one of the most trustworthy people I know & the words 'trust' and 'auto mechanic' usually don't go together. I found this shop over 20 yrs ago & wouldn't think of going anywhere else. When my daughter's were attending college in SLO I would exchange cars with them on a weekend so Serge could service their car. It's not that I couldn't find a mechanic up there, I did find someone who kept trying to get me to do expensive repairs & when I brought the car in for Serge to check he gave me an honest estimate and saved me hundreds of dollars. And I don't want to forget giving all his staff a big 'Thank You' for taking such good care of all my cars over the last 20 years. more
