I have dined here and numerous occasions and love it love it love it, it is the best sushi in windsor. The food is incredibly fresh and tasty. If you come in you must try the Walnut Prawn Bento box, the Shrimp tempura roll, California and my favorite the Carberator Roll. Also the miso and the house salad is incredible and the salad dressing adds a wonderful kick to the salad. The prices and a little high but worth every penny, my 5 year old daughter would rather come here and McDonalds, now that is a kid with great taste. Come, Enjoy the food and service and atmosphere. more

Good Sushi, Bad soup 11/29/2005

Now keep in mind...I am a cautious sushi eater. I pretty much stick to California rolls and Rock and Rolls. I don't think it takes much talent to make those. Senju does a good job on both. However, their miso soup is nasty. It has the usual ingredients, but it is slightly sweet. I'd recommend this place to anyone who doesn't rate miso as their most important item. :) more

Senju Sushi 10/2/2005

Senju Japanese Restaurant offers the usual cuisine. They have very good combination tempura. The sushi is decent. The miso soup is not very good, though. Their prices are fair. It's one of those restaurants that you go to when you don't want to drive very far for a decent meal. more

Very tasty, nice service 8/7/2005

Senju is a quaint little restaurant in Windsor that serves very good sushi among other dishes. Their prices are moderate, (meaning higher than some sushi places, but not extremely expensive). Their service has always been very good, even when I have gone with friends and their children who were a little noisy. The staff is always courteous and friendly. The decor of the restuarant is pretty and calming, and their food is very good. Even my husband (who is usually a pizza and burgers kind of guy) enjoys their food very much. I believe they are closed on Mondays or Tuesdays, so you may want to call ahead if it's a weeknight and assure they're open. more
