Uhh, someone (may) clearly has an axe to grind, maybe the lack of novelty rolls? We were at Sebo this past friday around 8:30 and it was packed. We had to wait to be seated at the bar. Once seated everything was as spectacular as we had hoped. We had seen the reviews on other sites and were excited to try this new Hayes Valley spot. The service was warm, the quality of the fish was amazing. The best we've had in S.F. Apparently they get their fish flown in from Japan almost daily. Everything we had, items off the menu as well as a few dishes the chefs made on the spot, were incredible. Even the miso soup was great. Definitely hearty homestyle, and hot. Don't miss the exceptional sake list put together by True Sake, the server's recommendations for our meal were perfect. We'll definitely be regulars here.
Pros: quality/freshness, ambience, service
Cons: parking, hard to find
