Great Sangria! 3/22/2009

I tend to frequent Scoozi more in the summer time than I do in the winter because of their fabulous corner location on Newbury Street. Scoozi is a great place to go with a group and grab a pitcher of two of Sangria, share a few salads and an entree or two. The pizza is always good and the pasta dishes are great if you are dining in the evening (too heavy for me at lunch). Moderate prices and great location make this a must stop. more

Worst Service 8/19/2008

The worst service I have ever had in Boston. The food was alright, but you can not substitute sides. Nothing special. The waitress took forever to come over to the table, charged us $3 extra for substituting cheddar cheese for mozzarella, and barely even checked on us during the meal. I would not recommend this restaurant. Pros: Corner of Newbury Cons: Bad Service, Charge extra for dumb things more

Great to grab lunch/panini 6/29/2008

I have gotten a few paninis here, and have never been disappointed. There is a nice outside seating area in good weather. The service was good. It was a great place to sit down for a reasonably priced lunch. more

Hairs in food 4/25/2008

I went to Scoozi on my lunch break with a friend. We were so excited since it was the first nice day and we were sitting down watching people walk by. We had to wait at least 15 minutes before the waitress came to take our drink order. My friend and I both ordered and at the end of the meal we noticed that there were hairs (a lot of them) in our salads. The hairs were long and dark....we both have short blond hair, so they were not ours. We let our waitress know about the hairs and she didn't say sorry or anything....she just gave us the full bill. \r I will never go back.\r \r Cons: hairs in the food, slow service more

The place has great seats and looks good on the inside. The food was pretty good for what they were serving (I had a chicken parm panini and my GF has an italian). The only issue I had was the service. If I had a waiter/waitress I never knew about it. I thought it was a restaurant where you wait to be seated. If their was a hostess I would never know. I went up to the counter to order and I went up to the counter to pay. It was extrememly dead when we showed up and the workers just didnt seem to care. good if you care to be left alone and for quick bites but if your looking to impress a date Don't use this place. Pros: Good food Cons: bad service (IE NONE), messy tables more

Delicious Food 11/22/2006

I had lunch at this pizzeria, I thought the food was delicious. I had the tomato, basil and mozzarella pannini. It was very tasty and delicious. The portion was just right. For desert I had the tiramisu cake and a nice espresso. I recommend lunch here. The menu has many choices to choose from. The waitress was excellent. She checked on us all the time and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. more

This place is amazing for sandwiches. I order a turkey pannini almost every day. They toast it, the quality of cheeze, pesto, and turkey is amazing, It also comes with a bag of chips. I love this place. It's quite a find! Pros: Good Sandwiches Cons: A little crowded more
