This is a great place to spend the day. The kids love the exhibits. They can't go in without building the block arch. The play area outside is great too on nice days. My older son is always amazed by something new he learns while here. They love standing on the bridge over traffic and watching the cars and trucks drive under us. more

Great fun for kids, not too bad for grown-ups either 8/17/2005

The Science Center is where I spent a large portion of my childhood. Granted, I was a rather nerdy kid, but its huge array of exhibits can entertain for hours. Not to mention the fantastic Omnimax Theater, a huge dome showing some truly dizzying documentaries. Be sure to build an arch in the architecture exhibit, check out the dinosaurs, and take your time; this is a great day trip. more

You can get lost in here 8/9/2005

There is so much to do you really could get lost. As soon as you go inside there's a giant ball machine above your head. Exhibits on everything science from dinosaurs to the human body to architecture are almost all hands on. Don't miss building your own arch (bring someone tall) and walking in the bridge over the road. A snack bar and Omnimax theatre provide a great break. more
