This is the first bar I encountered a smoking ban. But this is a nice place too, music is so good and the ambiance is perfect. This is a good relief after the trip.

There shouldn't be a smoking ban 3/14/2007

If Scalawags stopped before the rest of the bars do, the bar would loose its patrons to those other bars- not good for business. Scalawags is one of my favrite bars to go to in the area. The people are great. Someone is always playin good music, and the drinks are delicious and affordable. more

Smoking in a no-smoking establishment 11/14/2005

I think one of the greatest things about living in Columbus now is the smoking ban in restaurants and bars. Scalawag's is near our house, and we stop in with friends from time to time. This last time, we stopped in, and headed right back out after 10 minutes once we realized that they were violating the smoking ban by using old Altoids tins for ash trays!! WHAT?! Not cool. So I won't be going back there in the future. more
