We went here in a party of 5, based on good reviews by one person that came with us. We all planned on the tasking menu which is advertised on their website. We arrived and saw no mention of a tasting menu, when we asked the waitress, she was clueless and said it wasnt available some days. This was a bad start. We had a couple appetizers, portabello mushrooms were OK, and the tempura (not a true tempura batter) asparagus was below average., nothing special. We had a variety of dishes to try, such as the risotto, penne pasta with shrimp, clam linguini, etc. The clams tasted quite good, the shrimp was average, and the risotto which 3 of us got, was either mushy and overcooked, or shockingly undercooked. Any chef worthy of any praise should be able to cook risotto properly. The scalops were cooked to oblivion and oversalted. We skipped dessert based on the previous courses.
