We were very pleased with our wedding and reception, which was hosted by the Savannah Beach Inn bed and breakfast. The innkeepers, Ann Last and Craig Markowski were easy to work with. They provided chairs for my 50 guests, flowers, an archway, bouquets, boutonni?res, unity sand ceremony, photography, an awesome officiant, and they did all the setup. All we had to do was show up with our marriage license! It was very romantic and it took the planning pressure off of my shoulders.
After the wedding and reception, we stayed in the Marshall Suite on the top floor of the inn. We loved the room because it had a mini kitchen, a sitting area, a private bath, an extra bunk bed room for kids, and a view of the ocean through the large bay window. The restorations done to the house made it very modern while retaining its old southern charm.
At breakfast time, we couldn?t wait to get downstairs to chat around the kitchen at the counter top! It felt like family. On our last day, I wanted a crab omelet, which was not on the menu that day, but I got one because the staff was very accommodating. They even sent it upstairs on a tray because I was running late getting packed for the airport.
2 days after we got home, we received our wedding photos and DVD. Sylvanna, craig?s wife, is a entertainer from Tahiti and we used one of her songs for the background music of the footage. My husband loved the Polynesian flavour that her vocals added to our wedding video since he is of Hawaiian decent. Craig put a lot of extra time and energy into our video and we were thrilled with it!
We are already talking about our next visit to Tybee Island and the Savannah Beach Inn Bed and Breakfast.
