Sandpiper

Nice place to live if you don't mind wadeing through Duck Poop to get to your apartment especially if you live on or near the water. The Duck Poop is so deep on the sidewalk around the lake that it is almost impossible to find a place to put your food without stepping in it and the stinch is horriable. People step init and track it in on the carpet and it is near impossible to get the smell out, the shampooed mine twice and still didn't get it out, management has done nothing about the problem, I am just waiting for my contract to run out so I can get away from it more

I live in a neighboring apartment complex and I have never been so disgusted as I am now. The individuals living in building 2 are loud, disrespectful, and just plain trashy. I have complained to the apartment management about a certain family (living in 2N) and NOTHING has been done about their bad behavior or lack of common decency toward their neighbors. These people pull up outside at all hours of the night and day blasting their music (and I use the term lightly for the reverberating noise coming from their speakers), they stand in the parking lot yelling at the top of their lungs at other individuals in the complex, they have two small dogs that they do not leash when they have them outside, and they let them run all over the place, defecating at will, and do not pick up after them. Not to mention, one of the little beasts proceeded to run across the lawn and attack my small dog, who was on a leash. Luckily, I was able to jerk him free and into my arms. I have complained numerous times to the management staff and nothing to my knowledge has been done about it. I am sick of it. I have a right as a rent paying tenant to expect a certain amount of peace and quiet and I haven't seen any yet. If my little dog gets hurt because of managements refusal to resolve the issue, guess who I am going to sue? It's not going to be the dog. more

I just moved here from Arizona and I really like my apartment. It is close to the base. There is a huge work out room and they have a fishing lake. The staff is really nice. I dont have to pay for water or garbage. more

I lived at Sandpiper for over 4yrs. I never had any problems with management,maintenance,crime or bugs. I guess some people just dont under stand apartment living. No matter where you live or where you go you will always have problems with crime, parking, & loud neighbors,if you get lucky you move next to a good quiet person. But I dont at all put the blame on management. They over see 530 apartments every day that in it self is a very hard job. What other community to do you know that has partys , yard sales ,movie nights, egg hunts for the kids & it is all fee to you. I love the ladies at the office & the management company. As for maintenance,I love the guys they always came right out to fix any problem I had. Yes the apartments are older but sometimes things just go bad or break. I never had any problems with bugs(maybe that is because I keep my house clean). I would recommed someone to live at this community & I would move back if I ever needed to. more

We love living here it is such a beautiful space. If there were 10 stars we would rate Sandpiper a 10! more

I love living at Sandpiper Apartments. The place is nice and the leasing agents are some of the nicest i ran into. They made me feel like i was already part of the community before i even rented the apartment. I love there activities and all the great things that they offer. The Moive Theater is awesome. I think that it really takes someone who loves there job and their residents to so much for them like they do. I really want to commend the owners and office staff for making this such a great place to live. Thank yous again and I would recommend this complex to anyone. more

I've recently moved here and started working out at the Air Force Base. When I first came down and explained my situation (not knowing anyone for about 300 miles) the office staff was EXTREMELY understanding. I spent quite a few times in the office just talking with the staff. Maintenace is also very friendly and helpful. The grounds are nice with maintenance crews out once a week. It always looks nice and kept. more

I REALLY LIKE SANDPIPER..I HAVE BEEN THERE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THOSE THAT ARE IN THE OFFICE ARE VERY HELPFUL AND TRY THEIR BEST 2 MAKE IT A NICE STAY. ITS A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR CHILDREN. AND I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE THE BEST REASONABLE PRICE FOR A BEAUTIFUL GATED AREA. more

i dont know why everybody say its bad.we live here since 3 years now and we love it over all.to all the ppl who hate it pls dont forget u moved in a apartment not yr own house.everywere happens stuff that shouldnt happen but u can count them on one hand.the pool is nice and clean.the pool party once a year is nice because of the kids games they do.u can send yr kids to the movies and the staff lockes the door and never let a kid go home by themselfs.if u come to late they even drive yr kid to u.fitness center is nice and all other partys they make are nice and for the whole familys.somebody here talked about bugs.we never had roges in that whole time we live here just a few times the tree roges and thats normal here in Ga.u will get them sometimes depending on the weather but u can spray outside a little and they wont come in.they playground in the front is nice.kids can play there all day.the one on the lake i wished had a fence around but well cant have it all.if something in the apartment breakes the ppl come fast and repair it.yes the wall paper is not what i would have but its not my house,also the crapet and stuff but its ok.the only thing i wished what they could make better is that they would have a height limit for animals instead of a weight limit and maybe a gated grass area were the dogs could run.other than that great place to live for the whole family :) more

I've lived and loved my whole experience at Sandpiper for the past year and a half. I don't know way anyone would write a bad review. I feel safe with the gated community and security provided. The maintenance is efficient and in a timely manner. I love the POOL with my friends and other tenants. Everyone seems very nice and polite. The staff has always provided top-notch customer service. This is a great place to live. I love it. more
