It's a very nice place. A bit 'cliche L.A.', but that's not a shocker. There are some excellent stylists. Alex does amazing work, and the owners Elia and Mark are very modern cutters) The ambiance is chic and friendly, if a bit heavy on the techno feel, and a little light on the amenities, but they do good work. I'd suggest you steer clear of Louis (color + cut), unless you wish to re-live the edgy 1980's vibe, of runny noses and constant phone interruptions, if you catch my drift. He's moderately talented but not worth the bad energy. (Think 'Ari Gold' meets Ami Winehouse, in the body of a paunchy, middle-aged New Yorker.) My mistake was allowing him as a sub. Stick with the upscale stylists there.\r
Those working in reception are real gems. Very warm people. There are some real artists working here. Yeah, the parking can be a nightmare, but just choose your appointment times wisely, and you'll be fine.
