Lonnie is a professional, an artist, and really knows what he is doing! I can sit in his salon chair with total trust and confidence knowing that I will not leave with regrets or surprises. I have course unruly curly hair that needs to be colored every 4 weeks because of my gray grow out. He is an expert and knows just how much and the right shade my highlights should be. He listens and communicates so that we are on the same page on what I want for my hair, and will tell me honestly if and why something I suggest won more

I have been going to the Salon for maybe 3-4 years loved Nguyen and was sorry to see her go. I have been seeing Mena for about 2 years and usually have good luck, but the results vary as my hair has its color problems being red, but had a good formula with Nguyen. I thought we had the same formula from Nugyen but it seems we are having problems of late being red.. For whatever reason, my hair was blue after my last visit. Not bright blue but a very dark blue given my slat/pepper hair. Mena had another client and Betty took over washing and trying to fix with some products to lighten. I like Betty and she seems nice, but judged my hair as did Mena as ""great"". I expressed my concern and was assured it was ""the light and would wash out"" . I had been there maybe 2 hours and was tired .so I left. When I looked at my hair under the lights, it was even more blue than I thought. My wife was appalled and I knew Lonnie the owner would make it right. Upon arrival Mena defended the color and said it was fine, but would see what she could do, which left to her own devices, makes me wonder. While she kept arguing about my hair not being blue, I finally turned to Lonnie who said it was blue, and proceeded to tell Mena how to fix it. I think what bothers me most is either the poor judgement exhibited by Betty and Mena, or a careless attitude, as Mena seems to forget who the customer is or does nor listen. In my business the customer is usually right. I resent their defense of an admittedly bad job nor any apologies; I was lucky I did not have any business appointments. I believe I should have been refunded monies paid and especially for the time and inconvenience, but you decide for yourselves. In writing to Lonnie certain other problems were also highlighted he chose not to respond to after ~2 -3 months and why I write. Sure Mena and Betty are nice people and are a pleasure to a point. I will not get into my wife's significant issues from her weekly visits that give us great pause as they have been going on too long and we are seriously considering a new salon. Have been going to Betty for over a year and will never switch hairdressers again...I'm a very loyal customer if I have a hairstylist who is good...Betty's the best I've ever gone to in my 55 yrs...she knows my hair, spends as much time as possible making me look beautiful, and is an excellent colorist as well...Love her!! Now Ronnie, the owner, if you're listening, please, please turn off the a/c...I can usually handle a cool envirionment, but this is ridiculous! That's my only gripe... Pros: Attention to detail and making you look your best... Cons: It's a bit chilly...please, no a/c in the winter! more

I just went to this salon for the first time. It is a great place. I had my hair cut my Kristin and she was very nice and was very easy to talk to the whole time I was there. She even did a little head massage as she washed my hair. My hair looks amazing, I just came back to work and all my co-workers said it looked amazing, even the guys. I will be going here from now on, Kristen also recommended a mix and match of shampoos and conditioners that she used that is perfect for my hair. For the first time ever that I have gotten a haircut, Kristen cut most of my hair wet then dried it to see exactly how it shaped up and finished the cut. My hair is so shiny and soft right now and feels really light. 5 starts all the way!! more

I used this salon for years, back in the day when it was Paparazzi. When management changed, I relied on the web for referrals and ended up with three different haircuts all in one style. Finally, I was referred to Ryan at Salon Phoenix (imagine that) and he was able to put some order back into my hair. This guy is young but a master sylist. He listens and is talented enough to 1) recognize my hair was cut into 3 different styles and 2) to eliminate most of the problems. Give him a try; he's up and coming. Pros: A few great stylist; stay with those recommended Cons: Decor a little over done; I'd recommend a few less decorative accessories and a little more general cleaning more

I want to take the time to rate my good friend Joy on her cheerful and warm services! I have not seen her for a while and I hope she's still there. She was a great help at my sister's wedding although it was a stressful job but she took it in stride! She has great spirit and pride in her work and she should be recognized as a number 1 hairstylist in Denver; she's worth keeping. If anyone does not know what they want to do with their hair let her know and she will mix the color and you will walk out looking great and feeling beautiful! I agree with the previous write-up on her and it descibes my experience with her. She was my first hairdresser when I was fresh out of college moving back home and she taught me to stand up for myself and be a go-getter, her advice is in my head in my new job search. I love Salon Phoenix! I see Joy Sunde and she is about the most cheerful person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! I just came from seeing her today. I walk in as usual and don't know what I want.( I love to change my look up everytime!) and I just sit down and told Joy I was thinking about more blonde this time but I pretty much left it up to her as I always do. Joy agreed and excused herself, she told me she was going in the back room to mix up a little love, as she likes to call it. I had no idea that joy decided to throw some dark chocolate lowlites in with the pale blonde hilites and the way they played off of the caremel brown color of the last color she gave me gave my boring blonde idea a great new twist! Joy said it reminded her of a hershey hug! I absolutely LOVE it!!! Not only does Joy do a great job on my hair, she is a rather entertaining personality to spend a couple of hours with. She truly lives up to her name! ( ask her to tell you the chicken little story!) The head massage is phenomonal! Her next venture is hair extensions. My appointment is already set to go! Lyubov is amazing. i have gone to many other salons and my feet have never looked and felt so good as they do after one of lyubov's pedicures. i feel safe going there knowing that it is really clean unlike a lot of salons. Paparazzi is a very modern upscale hair salon w/ alot of great stylists. Personally I go to Kristi Hagan because she gives me a great cut everytime and her color is amazing! I have naturally black hair and I lighten my hair almost blonde. Kristi is the only one that has EVER (and i've been to plenty) been able to make my hair blonde WITHOUT red tones in it, and everyone w/ black hair knows that your hair goes orange if not done right. I also like my hair long, and she manages to cut it so it has lots of body and bounce. I highly recommend Kristi for anyone w/ dark hair that wants a beautiful highlight. I have been going to Paparazzi for years. I always go to Mel who is the best at color and cuts, not to mention very personable and easy to work with. It is a great place to go if you need help coming up with hair ideas and cuts. Everyone is always willing to help pick out a fun and cute hair do. It can be pricey at times, but it is well worth it. The hairdressers also reccommend the products that are best suited for your hair, not necessarily what is sold at the salon.
