I had the opportunity to spend some time at salon mode! Beautiful facility with a mediocre staff. The owner is amazing, kind and sweet. The manager who was the previous owner walks around the salon like a rooster in a hen house. I feel sorry for the new owner, she has her hands full.I wish I would have read the reviews posted before I went there. I would have chosen differently! more

I HAVE JUST MOVED TO OSHKOSH, FROM CHICAGO AND THIS PLACE IS JUST GREAT!! I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE BUILDING (BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED CLASSIC) WITH ALL THE MODERN URBAN TOUCHES. IT IS ALWAYS HARD TO FIND THE "RIGHT" PLACE WHEN YOU MOVE AROUND BUT I WILL REFER FREINDS AND FAMILY TO THEM. AVEDA SALONS ARE ALWAYS THE BEST CHOICE! more

Salon Mode may have a nice building and atmosphere, but as far as hair stylists goes they are horrible. They TRY to give customers cutting edge hair styles and end up butchering their hair instead.My experience there was one of great disappoint and frustration. I went and wanted to get my hair cut into a layered bob, sides to my chin. When they were finished, my hair was cut uneven. Literally the right side of my head had one hair style and the left had a totally different one. When I went back to have them fix my hair, I left worse than when I had originally came in- this time there was a chunk on the left side missing - and they told me that I just need to use more product in my hair. See the first time I said I like to keep it simple, quick and easy to do and I have never used more than hairspray and the occasional gel. I then proceeded to call them the next day and they told me I could come in and have them "fix" it again. Obviously after having my head massacred twice, I was not g more
