Great Haircut 10/18/2011

Tom did a great job trimming my hair. He made suggestions that were helpful but not overbearing. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Atmosphere was nice and price was reasonable. more

excellent service; even though I arrived 10 minutes late, everyone was very helpful and kind; shampoo and scalp massage, hand massage, and especially the hair cut by Thom: efficient, careful, artistic, wonderful service. Always the best treatment I get from anyone: keeps me coming back. thanks to everyone. more

Great haircut+pedicure 10/11/2011

Yajaira (sp?) did an excellent job with my hair. I have volume and a shape that compliments my face now. Best haircut I've had in years. I had an awesome pedicure, too. I forget the woman's name, but she got my rough feet nice and soft and kept the polish job clean. Jobella is out. I'm only going to Lulu from now on. more

I have been going to Thom for over 15 years - first at Panache, then Studio 607, and now at his beautiful new Salon Lulu studio. I can always count on Thom and his colleagues for great coloring and a good haircut. more

Classy Place! 9/28/2011

I have had many of the services Salon Lulu provides, cut, color, pedis and waxing and they consistently deliver the highest level of service and attention. The salon is very comfortable and the staff is always attentive. Thom is the best colorist I've seen and I've had my hair colored by some great colorists across the country. They are very accommodating and always go out of their way to make time for me no matter how crazy my schedule is. You won't be disappointed. more

My Experience at LU LU 9/27/2011

My first time at Salon Lulu was a relaxing and pleasant experience. When Tom came and sat with us to talk over about our concerns and expectations regarding our hair that struck me as very professional and a strong social grace skill. Also, the receptionists "broke the mold" with her pleasant manner. And, wether or not everyone there likes each other, they made it seem as though they did. Salon should serve as a model salon. more

Surprisingly Amazing! 9/24/2011

If you're anything like me, you know that customer service is a dying art and I am always prepared to be disappointed and annoyed with the service I receive from any business. Well, I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely delighted when I went to Salon Lulu for my first time yesterday, 9/23/11. EVERYTHING was top notch and they should teach classes to other businesses on how to treat their clients. From the instant I stepped into the salon, beginning with Ilda, who couldn't have been more accommodating, to the beautiful salon, to the great cup of coffee I was treated to, to Tom who came over and said "let's talk a few minutes before we begin" in order to find out what I was looking for and take a look at my hair, and then proceeded to give me the best haircut I've gotten in years, to a staff that appears to genuinely like not only what they do, but each other, I can not say enough good things about them or my experience. I will be returning to Salon Lulu and am really happy I found them. If you're looking for a great haircut and wonderful treatment, then I recommend them to you. more

Cut and Color 9/19/2011

I had a good experience, after being recommended to Salon Lulu by a friend. She recommended Tommy, but he was booked so I went to Susan. She did a nice cut and color. I was only disappointed in the lack of shine the color provided. That is usually my favorite part. Otherwise the salon and staff were very nice! more

overconfident and did a poor job 9/18/2011

the stylist I had barely listened to what I said. She was clearly uncomfortable with cutting bangs but should have just said so and not done a poor job. I ended up going to another salon to try to fix the bangs and the stylists were mystified as to why she cut it so poorly. I specifically said to cut a certain amount of inches off and she did not until I pointed it out. She did not blowdry my hair appropriately and her hands reeked of cigarette smoke. I went to your salon based on the great yelp reviews but my particular stylist was not good. more

ilda and tom took care of my entire bridal party and a large group of friends and family on the day of the wedding. they went out of their way to make it comfortable, sweet and special. they have wonderfully talented stylists, manicurists, etc. - not to mention the utterly gorgeous loft style salon. i highly recommend ! more

My pleasure 9/12/2011

I have been going to Thom for many, many years -- back to Studio 607. It was a pleasant atmosphere then and continues to be now, at Salon Lulu. The salon is run efficiently. Everyone is friendly, warm and welcoming. My cut and color by Thom remains FABULOUS. He is, indeed an artist (and an extraordinarily nice person)! Salon Lulu is A plus in everyway! more

Thom is a master at his craft. He is an artist and creates looks that are on point. I feel comfortable expressing what I'm looking to do and trust Thom will always listen and guide. He is a true talent. The entire staff is wonderful as well. Salon Lulu provides superior service. It's always a pleasure getting pampered on my visits:) more
