I went for my first appointment with Holly yesterday! SHE IS AMAZING!!! I hadn't had my hair highlighted since May of 2012 and it is January 2014- ALMOST 2 YEARS!! It looks natural, the cut is perfect, and it is so blended you would not even know it had been so long!! Prices on products there are very reasonable!! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful!! :) more

I Love SALON EN VOGUE!! Makayla is a Magician. She has whipped up this magical RED for my hair that I get more compliments on!! The Salon is a wonderful place to have a beauty makeover. Entire staff is great. Makayla is the BEST! She is a great cutter, stylist too. I have followed her from several different salons, well worth the trip wherever she goes. Yay Makayla!! Finally!! After many years of searching, I have found the most awesome ""hair-lady""!! I never have to hope I get a good cut again. Julie at Salon en Vogue is wonderful!! She did a wonderful job and it was enjoyable to sit and chat with her too. I am so happy with my hair color and cut. I wasn't sure what I wanted and she gave me suggestions and thoroughly made sure I understood my options before we began. It has been several weeks now since I was in and my hair still looks great! I now tell all my friends because I finally have a hairstyle that makes them ask where I got it done and who did it!! Thank you Julie!! I am sold and will be a customer for life! more

Holly listens to me, she remembers everything we talk about from one visit to the next. She has enoughexperience that she can tell me if what I am asking her to do is possible or not with my hair type and facial features. When she does my hair I can relax and have pure luxury, just for me. She keeps up on new styles and products. She has rock-solid styling and coloring skills; the type of stylist you can trust from the first visit. Holly keeps my hair looking beautiful and healthy, one less thing for me to worry about. I have gone to Julie for a year and a half, she brought my hair look from the eighties to the tens. My color always looks perfect and does not need touching up for four months! Every product she recommends for my straighter than straight Norwegian hair does exactly what she says it will. It's wonderful to have fournd such a great stylist right where I live and the prices are so much better than GJ! more

Julie is an AMAZING hairstylist! Every time I go I come home satisfied. She do anything you want, I've gone though many hairstyles and she always gets what I want done. I have dark blonde hair and she makes me look like a natural light blonde. If you want a certain haircut she will give you what you want. If you want to get a haircut or color you want go to Julie you won't regret it, she has the experience and skill to make you happy. more

I called after reading all the reviews and was lucky to get in to a next day apt with Julie. There was no front desk girl and the place looked unlike any salon I had ever been too. I began to get very worried. After waiting for a half hour (past my apt time) I began to get tickt. Just when I was about to throw in the towel she finally came for me. I wasnt too impressed with her attitude or the way she casually excused her tardiness but I will say this. I LOVE MY HAIR CUT! I agree with the other reviews, customer service sucks and having your head pushed around by someones figer tip is quite rude. would it kill to say...can you tilt right? Either way, Im still heading back. I must tell you that I dont have straight long hair. My cut was tricky and choppy. Not easy unless you have lots of experience. Julie has the experience and the skills to back it up. She gave me exactly what I asked for only.... BETTER! My hair rocks and I believe it was worth the wait at least for now. I do hope they improve there customer service skills. It would be sad to have to go else where over a lack of such basic professional ettiquet. Overall, I give it 4 stars just for the cut alone. It is such an awesome cut I will definetly be back! more

I just want to share that I took my 17 year old daughter to Julie and she loved her new hairstyle for Senior pictures. Julie is an artist and can make men an women look great! She is up on all the current styles and she has great ideas on which cut would look good for my hair type and features. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. more

I first heard about Salon En Vogue through my sister, who found it through Citysearch. It is an adorable salon that has a homey feeling to it. I have had three haircuts there starting from November of last year. Each time I have seen Julie, she is great! My biggest fear about seeing a new hair stylist is that they won't know how to deal with my hair correctly. I am middle eastern and have very long, thick, curly hair. I like to keep it long and was always afraid that if the stylist cut my hair wet then it would end up a lot shorter than I wanted. No fear here! Julie is very experienced and gave me an amazing hair cut. Each time she has cut my hair it gets better and better. Especially this last time, which was last month. I really wanted a different style for my hair other than the long layers in the front and in the back of my hair. I just leave it to Julie and she gave a great cut, I now have shorter layers in the front as well as some side bangs. It looks really good, curly OR straight! I appreciate that Julie really listened to what I wanted, specifically leaving my hair long. She is very talented and obviously knows how to handle different hair types. I will definitely continue to come to this salon and see Julie in the future! more

I have been a client of Holly's for around 15 years. She is super friendly and accompodating and really wants me to feel good about my hair. She has gone out of her way to find solutions for my thinning hair issues, and I look 10 years younger because of her. People constantly ask me where I get my hair done. She does have a busy schedule, so plan ahead. If you can't get in right away, don't go elsewhere or get scissor happy yourself. I promise she is worth the wait! Well, what can I say about this place... Salon en Vogue is by far the worst salon I've even gone to. I even think Supercuts is better than this place. Pros: No Pros Cons: Everything more

I called to see if one of the stylists would be able to squeeze me in as a walk-in. The woman who answered the phone explained that no one was available except the stylist that was on-call for Mondays. I asked her to call and see if it was possible to have her come in to cut my hair. I left my name and number with her. Waited several hours to hear from them but did not receive a call back. Finally I called back, and she apologized for not getting back to me right away. Fortunately, she had a cancellation and was able to get me an appointment with Julie later in the day. ***************** I have been going to Julie since then. She does a great job with my hair, and always makes sure I'm satisfied with my cut before I go. more

I came to Salon en Vogue after reading all the great reviews here. Holly answered the phone when I called and was really friendly, which was great. I brought in a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like, and Julie was my stylist. Julie did not really listen to anything I said, and was much more interested in asking me personal questions about my life. This is probably the most annoying thing about hair stylists. I understand making small talk and conversation to keep clients comfortable and make them feel welcome, but when all you do is ask one intensely personal question after another, it feels a lot more like an interview by Oprah than a haircut. When I expressed to her that I was not happy with the way it looked she told me to come back tomorrow if I felt the same way. Therefore, what they say about ""not leaving unless you love it"" is not accurate whatsoever. Also, when I called the next day Julie said she has other things to do so she will deal with it tomorrow. Julie did a great job on the my hair color and cut....she made me feel very comfortable from the start....she's a great stylist and I highly recommend her.... I will be a loyal customer for a very long time! more
