Salon Aura-East Calumet does not disappoint when it comes to customer service! Everyone is very friendly, professional, and attentive. I am a regular guest for the services provided by Rachel, Meg,and Tasha. I know that they have other guests, but they each make me feel that my visits are special. Their positive attitudes, warm and genuine smiles, and interest in providing a great experience are greatly appreciated! more

I always love my time at Aora. Meg has shaped my brows for going on 2 yrs and has done an excellent job. This was the first time Rachael has cut and styled my hair and I'm extremely happy with it. more

Destiny was GREAT but email not so great. 12/3/2011

I was very happy with Destiny. She has given me my favorite hair style of my whole life and I am 37. I am not so happy with the email that I received that said my appointment was confirmed twice. Further down in the email it said that they could not help me with the appointment I wished to have. I went on a day that i was not scheduled for and had to make a different appointment for another day. more

My daughter recommended Mitch. He is everything that she described. He knows what looks good and styles your hair to create that look uniquely for you and your personality. I have never left a hair salon feeling that I was part of the experience and really liking my hair. In the past it would take a day or two to adjust to the new cut and style. Mitch has changed all of that. I actually like my new look which ultimately accentuates my better qualities. Thank you, Mitch. more

Always professional and comfortable 11/12/2011

I've been going to Aura for a number of years now. My stylist left another salon to come to Aura and I followed him there. I am so glad he made the move because the Aura salons are always professional, clean, relaxed and provide excellent service. I would recommend it to anyone (and have!) more

Great haircut! 11/7/2011

I was referred to Abigail from a co-worker. Her haircut, her coloring and highlights are always fantastic so I decided to give Abigail a shot. My haircut is awesome and I am very happy with it! Abigail is also such a doll and a very good conversationalist. I will recommend her to others! Thanks Abigail! more

I had a massage in Room 1, right by the door for pedicures, and all I heard was talking throughout my massage. It was like being in a cafeteria-terrible. Cupboard doors slammed made this a very unrelaxing massage. more

As always Mitch did an amazing job on my color and cut. We decided to add some warmth in the color and it turned out great!! I have had many compliments. I "discovered " Mitch about 4 years ago when I purchased a gift package from a school auction and I have been more then satisfied ever since. Mitch takes the time to talk about what I like, what I don't like, and what, if anything, I would like to change. I am not a person that stays the same old same old for to long when it comes to my hair, and Mitch does a wonderful job accommodating the change so I don't get bored. I look forward to being a client of his for many years to come. more
