Best Diner in town 2/9/2011

I have read some of the prior reviews and disagree with the comments that the owners are rude. I have been a frequent customer and have never been treated rudely. I have seen customers be rude and demand things from the owners/managers that are unbelieveable. Don't always believe what you read. The food there is excellent, always fresh and made to order. I have never had a bad meal there. There desserts are out of this world as well. I go there at least 3 times a week. I would say this is the best diner I have been to in the area. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Go there you won;t be disappointed. more

Rude Rude Rude 10/22/2010

I will never eat at this diner again and I hope anyone that reads this will avoid this diner. They are very rude and do not even try to accomodate the customer. Just stay away. more

Beware...the Owner is a Jerk! 5/9/2010

We are repeat customers of this Diner. We had a reservation for a party of 8 and the Diner was completely incompetant in coordinating the reservations in seating us. When we complained about the table we had waited so long to get, the owner did not want to accomodate us. He screamed at us in anger. He said we could wait for another table to open up so we agreed. We waited another 25 minutes & they gave the next table away to another party! When we questioned why?? the owner said ""you gave your table away""! We said ""What?! we've been waiting over 45 minutes now""! He was so nasty and asked us to leave. We left and we will never go back. Shame on you Sage!!!! Pros: Negative Zero Rating Cons: Beware...Nasty owner more

BAD EXPERIENCE 5/16/2009

Got a bad piece of fish tonight and then was charged a la carte for the dinner's side orders when I sent the fish back. Was not told this would happen and the side orders cost more then the dinner! Complained to the manager, but no satisfaction. more

DESSERT DESSERT DESSERT. The Chocolate Ganache Cake- Magnifico! 12/7/2006

This restaurant has taken me by storm. I am actually a Pastry Chef myself, and was up here in Mt Laurel staying at the Wyndham, and having eatin' plenty of times at the Steak and Chop chains (within the Wyndham), I wanted something different. So I ended up at Sage just accross the street, what can I say PEREFECT! I loved everything. Let's say, I had training Monday thru Friday, I ate at Sage Monday thru Friday. I absolutely couldnt get over the prices of everything and the portions. FABULOUS PRIME RIB! Great Pastas; The Greek Dishes were just right on the DOT (saying the owners are Greek ;)), Pastas were done just right and sauces so amazing your mouth would water when looking at it. Now to the Desserts, my specialty, AMAZING. GANACHE CAKE!!!! WOW!!!!! Can someone mail me some more I live in texas! lol. and the Napoleon was great as well. The Peanut Butter Banache cake was to die for, cookies, brownies, blondies, EVERYTHING!!! The service was great as well.. and I wasnt expecting it either, saying they are in South Jersey (I've heard people are really rude there) But they WEREN'T! What can I say it was all perfect this place was completely wonderful, and you could tell the owners took everything into consideration and made everything as great and wonderful as they could. Fantastic Job guys! AND if you all reading this START A CHAIN! and get your Pastry Chef to mass market his work, you all would make a killing! Anyways I recomend this to everyone! Pros: Ambiance, Parking, Service, Food, PASTRIES, Pastas, Prime RIB, Salads, EVERYTHING!!!! Cons: NOTHING! everything is perfect! good job guys! more

Eat dessert first 9/28/2006

Always a good bet - never had a bad meal (although the spinach pie is not my favorite). Varied menu with lots to choose from - breakfast is always good. Excellent hash browns and French toast is wonderful. Great dinner specials. And the cheesecake is to die for! Better than Ponzios, Mothers or Cheese Cake Factory. Pros: Breakfast, Cheesecake Cons: Tacky diner decor more

great omelets and variety anytime 6/23/2006

Food is fresh and high quality. It can get busy on weekends. Worth a few minutes wait. Bakery items are limited but very good. Pros: great location Cons: sometimes gets busy more
