I live in South philly, and I have for a few years. 2 years ago i would have told you that Sabrina's is one of the best places to have breakfast in the entire city. This year, the...

Disappointed 2/12/2004

The crispy Calamari was very good as was the goat cheese salad but it went to very ordinary from that point. The pecan crusted trout entree was OK; the pork chop with garlic-mashed potatoes was big (not much else to say about it) and the best meat loaf youve ever tasted was both hard on the inside and out. The staff is very friendly and the place is cute but for $60 with tip (its a BYOB) it was very disappointing Pros: BYOB, Nice Staff more

Great Food! 2/1/2004

Wonderful, creative food. Great vegan & veg options, as well as carnivorous fare. Enjoyed the stuffed french toast, potatoes, etc. Pros: Great Food, Good Prices Cons: , Up and Down Service more

Consistently Commendable 11/15/2003

I've become a regular at Sabrina's and cannot say enough about the food and service. The wait staff is always friendly and well informed about the menu choices, specials vary day-to-day, and the food is perfect. Whether I'm here for brunch or dinner everything is individually prepared with the tastiest of ingredients. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Please don't go to Sabrina's, once you do you'll only come back and make my wait for a table longer. more

Hit or Miss 11/13/2003

I've had great meals here, and I've had a couple of horrible meals as well (like fritattas raw in the middle, eeew). The atmosphere is homey and pleasantly bustling inside, but definitely go during a weekday if you want to avoid waiting and waiting for a table. Unless you go to gossip about the night before with whatever hipster tribe members turn up, your choice. Pros: Cozy, Usually decent food Cons: Long wait on weekend more

What a Find! 10/2/2003

I stumbled on this place just mosying around the market. I am so glad that I did. I had a Caesar salad and hamburger. They were both fabulous. I am a huge fan of hamburgers, and I have to say that this just might be the best I have ever had. I ordered the normal size Caesar, and it was huge. The prices are reasonable and the staff affable. I am going to be a regular. Pros: Great Food, Good Service, Affordable Prices Cons: Parking more

Best Brunch! 9/15/2003

As a dedicated brunch lover, this is my favorite morning cafe. Not only does it have the traditional breakfast menu, it has a wide variety of more unique and tasty brunch entrees ... My favorite is the banana-farmer cheese stuffed french toast. The specials are also great! The ambience is restful yet upbeat after a late night, and the service is good. The only thing lacking is a bloody mary. Pros: Parking Cons: Crowded more

It's hard to pick from all the choices but no matter what you get it is always FABULOUS!!!!! Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious food, Always a pleasure Cons: can get crowded more
