I had ordered a Trunk Deck lid for my 2011 Camaro SS and I wanted it in Yellow... I talked to parts man by the name of DJ an he told me that he had found one in their Warehouse that he could ship to me for $407.37. So I agreed an that's what he did. He also said it was a good one that had no dents or anything wrong with it. Well, when my husband received it he opened it up with the truck driver that delivered it standing right there looking at him, and it was a total mess. There was at least 5 dents on one side of it that he counted right off and three corners of the lid was bent (damaged). He said he couldn't believe how it was put together and sent to him. Like a bunch of Drunks had done it. And the Truck Driver standing there said he couldn't believe what he was seeing as well and didn't blame my husband for rejecting the package and returning it back to Rydell Chevy. I wasn't told there was going to be a bunch of damage done where I would have to have body work done to it.. DJ said there was nothing wrong with it. In fact he said there was very little flaws in it an you might not be able to see it at all. Well the ones that my husband could see were very noticeable for sure. Very Disappointed in what I was told in the first place. Then he told me he'd go look and see if he could find another one an call me the next morning and I didnt' receive a call the next morning. I had to call them back that afternoon and ask him what the deal was and finally got a hold of him and he said his daddy told him he'd just have to refund my money cause he didn't have anything. Well, Yes cause they knew they didnt' have anything to begin with. They thought they could get over on me I am thinking but they didn't. and they didnt' refund all of my money which I will be filing on that tomorrow with my credit card a dispute. Their not going to lie and then cheat me out of my money. I dont' owe them nothing. not even for a shipping cause their the ones that lied to me I didn't do the lying they did. they shouldn't have sent it if it was damaged that bad.. Their mistake not mine. I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.. I didnt' ask for a damaged product. I ask for a good one. I told DJ I didnt' want a damaged one on my vehicle. that would be stupid to put something damaged on a nice vehicle that doesn't have a scratch on it don't you think. I wouldn't recommend them at all. never do business with them again more

Amazing service!!!! 7/15/2011

I had an idiot through a brick through the driver side window of my cavalier. I called them and within 5 minutes I was on my way to get my car fixed. They were able to locate a used window for me, have it sent to the auto shop, and fixed within 5 hours. They also vacuumed out my whole car and wiped down the car at no extra cost. The staff were BEYOND friendly in assisting me on what I thought was going to be a horrible day ended up being not so bad due to their kindness. more

Very Happy With My New Chevy Equinox! 2/11/2010

I'm very happy with my recent 2010 Chevy Equinox purchase. After shopping around Rydell was the only dealership to find exactly what I was looking for. I didn't feel like I was just another sale and was treated with respect for the entire process. They were very knowledgeable about the vehicle and showed me how to work the navigation system. Also, while waiting for my vehicle to be detailed I walked over to the free refreshment center where the only tough decision of the day was deciding what donut to eat. Pros: Great selection of Chevy Vehicles/Amazing Accessory display Cons: Too many free donuts to choose from more

Great Service / Facility / People 2/9/2010

I always use Rydell for service work on my Silverado. Bought the truck there in '06 and have been coming to the service department ever since. When buying a vehicle, you feel intimidated by negotiating a lower deal. I didn't have to do any of that here. The salesperson I worked with genuinely just wanted to help me find the truck I wanted. No negotiations, pricing is upfront. \r The service department takes good care of my truck. I appreciate being able to drive in and have my oil changed without an appointment. The advisors are friendly and know me by name. \r Wouldn't go anywhere else to get my truck worked on. The quality is much better here than anywhere I've ever been. Pros: The only place I go for service Cons: They know me by name more

I used Rydell for years to have my general maintenance done, oil changes etc. I bought a 2006 Equinox in early 2006. I can't complain about the sale of the car that was fine but not stellar. My wife had a serious accident with the equinox about a year ago and we took it to their body shop to be evaluated and then repaired. It was covered under the insurance of the person at fault, and her insurance company was GIECO. The first thing that they did wrong was they didn't total the vehicle and opted to repair it. I was certain that it should have been totaled. We got the vehicle back and everything seemed fine for a while. The wheel hubs went bad and started screeching gown the road. I also noticed that the hood wasn't on quite straight, so we had them fix that on the old bill. A month or so later I'm waxing the equinox and brushed the fog light as I was removing the wax and the fog light fell out. I don't think it comes from the factory like that. To add injury to insult the covers for the electronic components under the hood went missing while they repaired the wreck and have never been seen again. The cover inside of the driver side wheel well fell down and rubbed on the tire because it was improperly placed on the outside of the bumper cover and was damaged. At 35K miles I replaced the alternator and tension pulley at my own expense. The final straw. In November 2009 my wife took the Equinox to them again for scheduled routine maintenance. During the ""maintenance' they said that they had found ""contamination"" in the break fluid and it needed to be flushed. She called me because she didn't think that sounded right either on a 3 year old car with 30K miles. That and Rydell has been the only people that had done any maintenance affecting the brake system period. Now since that maintenance the alternator is going bad. While looking at the Alternator I spotted yellow writing from a local junkyard on the radiator that was replaced after the wreck. I'm tired of having the car in the shop constantly and I just want to have a good running quality vehicle, which you would think would be a result of having factory and ASE trained technicians service or repair your vehicle. Now I'm worried that our Equinox wasn't fixed properly and we are going to be hung with a pile of junk. We will never use Rydell Chevrolet of Waterloo, Iowa for any service ever again. Pros: You can by a car there. Cons: Don't expect much you won't get it. more
