I love going to rumjungle before it turns into a nighclub, it is a very cool place to have some drinks and eat. However as far as a nighclub goes it overpriced for drinks, even by...

Cheesy Vegas Fun 5/21/2002

It's just something you have to do in Vegas--hit the cheesy club scenes. This place is no exception. From the beefy shirtless drummers to scantily clad cage dancers, fire jugglers and even the occasional trapeze artist, this place is all show. Still, the live drums and fun music make for a great time on the dance floor. Pros: fun place to dance Cons: expensive, cheesy more

Upscale club 5/21/2002

A group of 15 of us went to Rumjungle on a Saturday night. Line was pretty long but went by in less than 30 min. Cover was about $20. Great atmosphere inside- very hip. Loved the dancers on the zip-lines above us, and the basic layout of the bar. However, the dance floor is very small and overall the place is tiny, compared to some of the megaclubs. We barely had any elbow room, so we just camped in front of the bar. Drinks are about $6-$8 each. Beautiful women too. Pros: hot women, nifty setup Cons: too small, pricey more

Editorial
  • In Short
Outside the door of Red Square stands a decapitated statue of Lenin. The head only lasted a month before complaints by retired servicemen convinced Mandalay Bay to chop it off the replica of the Soviet Communist leader. Inside, however, everything Russian reigns. The red decor will match the blood rushing to your head after knocking back a Stoli. With more than 100 varieties of vodka, this is the center of the Vegas martini world.
