Only in Minnesota will you find this place. In the south they would laugh this place back to the north. Why? Because they have the sweetest sauce I've ever thried in my life. ...

Rudolph's Rocks 9/11/2005

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted and seated. We ordered drinks and a appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) we loved it! It was wonderful that we could take our time and enjoy our drinks and appetizer without the food arriving so fast. Alot of restaurants feed you like cattle your in and out with no time to enjoy. When our main meal arrived it was outstanding, meaty ribs that had a wonderful rub and very tender. The sauce was very good it was sweet AND spicy. All of us love it. The garlic mash potatoes and coleslaw were just as good. The server was very friendly and efficient. I would highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone who loves great ribs. We know our ribs, we just came back from Kansas City, MO. Pros: Service, No smoking, Great food good price Cons: Little loud, Parking more

This is good barbeque? 2/25/2005

We went here because we had a Happening coupon for one free entree. Well, I was unimpressed with their barbecue. Their ribs were bland and I can make better barbecued chicken without even trying. I hear they have a good happy hour, so that might be worth checking out. We both thought our chicken appetizer was great, but it was served AFTER OUR ENTREES. I couldn't believe this. What is the point of even bothering to serve the appetizers if you've already given us our entrees. The dining area was empty but the staff was annoyed that we wanted to sit in a booth and not a small table. I would grudgingly go back if other people really wanted to go, but I would never suggest this place. Cons: sloppy service, boring food more

very average 7/14/2003

Only in Minnesota will you find this place. In the south they would laugh this place back to the north. Why? Because they have the sweetest sauce I've ever thried in my life. Bar-BQue should NOT (repeat) NOT be a sweet dish. It should have some tang and spice but I guess in a state where ketchup is a spice and you can buy extra mild salsa (fact: only state in the country pace makes it for) that it would reason the sauce is far removed from spicy. On the positive side the menu is varied enough you can stay away from the sauce and the ribs are good enough to eat sans sauce. Also the kitchen is open late for those of us who like a late (for here) meal. Pros: huge menu, serve late, $$$ Cons: sauce is too sweet, no parking more

Good food! 4/25/2003

The food here is really good, but they did change their menu within the past few months. They had a bbq pork sandwich that was AMAZING, but it is no longer on thier menu. The Spinach Artichoke dip is wonderful, and the bbq brisket is tender and delicious. I would recomemd this resturant to anyone who can afford it, it tends to be a bit pricey! Cons: expensive more

Rudolph's Ribs are the BEST 1/8/2003

Since I was a liite kid, my family when in the Cities have eaten at Rudolph's. It is by far the best BBQ I have ever been to. The Ribs are amazing, and the BBQ sauce is second to none!! Pros: Very Good Food, Good Service Cons: Parking more

Very good 12/4/2002

Went here for lunch to beat the crowds. The ribs were delicious and tender, but I wish the quantity was more. The coconut chicken salad was great while the parmesan peppercorn ranch dressing was to die for.. The pulled pork pita was mounded high and excellent.. Don't forget to have the NY cheesecake that is actually flown in from NY.. Its rich and tasty... more
