Myself and some family members from out of town went there one nite and were treated terribly, the lady who waited on us and other blacks in the place was very rude and nasty. After watching how she interacted with the hispanic customers and then how she treated us everytime she came to our tables I thought for sure I was on punked, but I wasn't... this lady just didn't blacks and it was obvious. Just forget it was dirty in there and the food was not hot she was just horrible.When I went to complain I saw how dirty it was in the back and the floor was the worst, it was to many of them for it to be dirty like that. At one point I would tell people to go there but not anymore. Not at all. more

If you are looking for cheap authentic mexican food, than this is the place to go. Don't expect your typical Houston tex-mex, though. It more like what you would find south of the border. Wonderful!!!! If you need to feed a big group of people this is the best place to go, since to food is so cheap. don't get me wrong the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. You'll love it. more

One word: YUM. Ruchi's has a very casual setting with both booths and individual seating at the counter. I recommend the enchiladas mixtas or if you've got a big appetite, one of the mega-sized burritos. I guarantee they'll fill you up. Like any other Mexican restaurant, they serve chips and salsa, but with a bowl of pickled peppers as well. So if you're in the mood for something deliciosa, head on over to Ruchi's. more
