The customer service is extremely poor at Ruby Gordon. They are a dishonest company that tries to rip people off by charging their customers full price for an item that is not available. Ruby Gordon offer and sold me a ""brand new item"" they knew they can never provide me with; instead they tried to pawn off a BROKEN floor model all the while charging me full price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r \r Their communication skills are POOR. Failing to informed my item was discontinued inorder to get it off their show room floor. The managers at this place fail to return calls for WEEKS at a time!\r \r Ruby Gordon penalizing its customers for their own wrong doing!! In addition, Ruby Gordon should not post their company/family values of honesty and integrity with a commitment to excellence when they treat their customers in just the opposite manner. Just wanted to mention that once again, our experience shopping at Ruby-Gordon was far better than we have had in the past with other furniture stores. We were looking for (and found) a beautiful sofa ad love seat set. We worked with Wayne who was helpful and extremely knowledgable in room design. He helped us pick out fabrics and even helped with the room's paint color. We just don't bother with other places anymore. We will be shopping there next year when we redo our bedroom. Ruby-Gordon is our only furniture store choice. more

This was the first time and LAST time of EVER buying anything from this store. We bought $5000.00 worth of furniture along with a rug. I specifically asked if the rug (8x10) was $99.00 like the others RAFAEL said YES. I was able to get him down to $80.00 for the rug.That is because he pulled a fast one and ordered the 2X3 RUG!! When the order was delivered and I saw the size of the rug I immediately called. He said he would call me back that night. NO CALL. I then called again to complain. The next day RAFAEL called to tell me the rug was $529.00!!!!! I told him it was NOT my problem it was his. He then proceeded to try to explain that I must have made a mistake! After hanging up on him 2x on the way to the store, I went into store and spoke to the Manager Don who was very nice. I explained my problem at length and if I did not get the rug for $80.00 I would cancel the whole order. I also would cancel if the jerkoff salesman make ANY commission on his!! He assured me the sale was already taken away from him. So I was ordered a new rug. A month later I returned the rug and decided to check on status of the other furniture that was on back order. They said my rug was in and told me I could take it. Sounded great UNTILLLLLLL....the guy came out with a rug draped over his shoulder.. I asked why it wasnt wrapped in plastic, he said, ""I JUST TOOK IT OFF THE FLOOR"". I TOLD HIM TO BRING IT RIGHT BACK THERE!! Now again I had to speak to Don the Manager who told me that my rug was on order and they would call when it came in (1-2 weeks) I have told EVERYONE about my experience!! This place is just horrible.While I was waiting to speak to Don, I overheard all the other conversations of poor service or ""FLIM FLAMS"" that these salespeople do here!!! STAY AWAY more

My order came in wrong, they couldn't fix it in time for the delivery date that was set. Store Manager not available for days, then asked how he could fix the issue when it was to be delivered in two days and he was just hearing about it. I'm now stuck with 2 couches and not the couch and the love seat, and was credited $30 for their mistake. They said they aren't to be blamed for the factory's error. They are terrible to deal with, and I would never do business with them again. They did offer to let me ""borrow"" one of their couches until the love seat came in. They say they're a family owned business, but when I asked to speak to the owner, they said he has little to do with the business and is retired, but I could write him a letter and send it to the store and they would be sure he got it. more
