HAVING EATEN AT ROZs FOR YEARS I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THEM FOR VALUE. THE BURGERS ARE POOR QUALITY FROM MY POINT OF VIEW. THE BEER IS COLD THOUGH!!!!! I WOULD HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT...

Wow what a friggin place 5/9/2005

i love thier beatuiful marble floors and thier manager ryan roznovsky is the greatest. He paid for our WHOLE meal when it was my daughters birthday. I just love the SPECIAL service you can get in the back room. The ladies are great and the happy our is AWESOME BABY> reccommended Pros: women, alcohol, manager ryan Cons: only 1 million sold, in the GHETTO, horrible parking lot more

Great burger 8/9/2004

Not one specific thing I could single out. Not the biggest slab of meat nor anything fancy at all. It just the sum of the parts. Everything comes together for what a hamburger is supposed to taste like. I have been eating the Roznovsky family's burgers since 1974 and they are simply just delicious. I like their fries too. Pros: Good quality, Inexpensive, Familiar Cons: , UT memorabilia faded, That's it more

Great Burgers 5/10/2004

I am not a die hard Longhorn, nor am I a family member and Roz is still the Best Burger in the city at any price. Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking, Easy to get to Cons: , No open on Sunday, Not close to home more

HOME COOKING 4/11/2004

HAVING EATEN AT ROZs FOR YEARS I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THEM FOR VALUE. THE BURGERS ARE POOR QUALITY FROM MY POINT OF VIEW. THE BEER IS COLD THOUGH!!!!! I WOULD HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WHO RECCOMENDS THIS BURGER JOINT IS EITHER A DIE HARD LONGHORN FAN OR RELATED TO THE FAMILY!!!!!!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY more

just average 3/28/2004

Very friendly people and good service but just average burgers. Looks like this place has been around for years and has a loyal following but their burgers are obviously made from a frozen patty and just nothing to get excited about. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, friendly people Cons: , greasy fries more

Great Food 3/10/2004

I have been going to Roznovsky's since I was a little girl. The people are wonderful, the setting is laid back, and it is a really great place to go hang out with some friends. I personally love to play the game machine.... Pros: Great Food, Inexpensive, Great People more

Where are the standards??? 12/28/2003

What are the few people bragging about. The hamburger is no different than a BK burger, actually it's greasier. there is absolutely nothing special whatsoeverd about the burgers, average fast food burger with a skinny, skimpy meat patty. The Fries are soggy and undercooked and the onion rings are frozen and ready to heat and serve. No atmosphere there unless you're a UT fan, we'll we're not all UT fans. Pros: not sure there's any Cons: skimpy meat, small burger, soggy fries more

Come home to Roz's 10/3/2002

This is the place that all those new roadhouse-style burger joints wish they could be. It's genuine small-town Texas right here in Houston, without all the designer faux-antique signs all over the walls. The decor here is simple and honest: some UT paraphanalia, some deer antlers, a stuffed fish, a TV in the corner. For once, a restaurant in Houston that's not trying to be something. It just is what it is. (Isn't that why we all love Taqueria la Tapatia, too?) Delicious burgers - right up there with PO's and Lankford Grocery. They're a bit smaller, but they taste as good if not better. Walk in, and let life slow down. Let the city melt away for awhile. You'll be glad you did! Pros: great food, friendly staff, genuine atmosphere Cons: no credit/debit cards more

Best in Town 7/17/2002
