Great Experience!!! 9/7/2011

I’m writing because I read all of the negative complaints about this store and I just wanted to be able to let future customers know about my positive experience. This past February I was shopping around to many stores in search of a leather sectional. One of the stores I went into was One Ten Home Furnishings. I spoke with one of the salespeople that showed me around their very large, very attractive showroom. This person was very polite, knowledgeable and made me feel at home. Although I was given the lowest price of all my shopping, I told him I needed to go home to think about it for a bit. When I got home, I went online and saw all the bad reviews about this store. I couldn’t believe my eyes since I was already having such a great experience, and I hadn’t even made my purchase yet. Due to what I read online I felt a little leery, so I came back in and spoke to the sales manager, Scott. He was very professional and assured me that the amount of bad reviews was minimal compared to the amount of volume the store does. There are thousands of very satisfied customers who never write in about their pleasant experience. That being said, I continued on with my purchase with One Ten Home Furnishings since I did in fact feel so comfortable there. My furniture came in exactly on time as promised, and it’s as beautiful as I’d hoped. Upon delivery I did notice there were 2 small scratches in the leather. I called the store right away and spoke to Jennifer, the Customer Service Manager. She too was very polite and knowledgeable and assured me that it would be handled right away. She further advised me that I would receive a call from their service company within a couple of days to make touch up the scratches. The service company did just that, and it looks wonderful. I highly recommend this store to anyone who needs to purchase furniture for their home. I had a great experience and look forward to doing business with One Ten Home Furnishings again soon. more

WORST STORE IN THE WORLD I WOULD NOT LET MY DOGS SHOP HERE 3/23/2011

I purchased a bedroom set for my new home on 3/5/11. i went and spoke to a nice person i thought named Tommy i was told i would get my set in 2-3 weeks. After two weeks of no correspondence with Tommy i called to make a final payment and asked him when i can expect my delivery he said i will call you back on Monday. thats no problem Monday comes no call from Tommy so i called the office and get the so called designer not a sales associate a designer so no sales could have been done that day because supposely Tommy was not in and it is only them two in the store location. ok so i asked for a manager a director someone else i can speak to and she tells me there is no one only them two WTH. ok then i asked for her to tell Tommy to call me back no call back. Tuesday come oh Tommy is off he will not be in. ok Wensday comes and no Tommy again. i had to block my number in order to get him on the phone. well he still had no answer for me and you know i am pissed off now. so all of a sudden he has the number to headquarters. ok get the number for head quarters explain to them my situation and now i am informed i will not be getting my set for another 2-3 weeks. i am fuming now so i explained to her that i am sleeping on the floor and need my bed this lady who is suppose to be a professional tells me that i have a mattress because i did not buy it from them sleep on that. now i can not control myself and i am so mad i am crying now. i asked her do she sleep on her mattress on the floor or sleep on the floor she tells me thats not here problem. So i explained to her i paid in cash $1850 and i want my money back she tells me well you are not getting it back and that i just have to wait till i get my delivery. this place SUCKS. i have always bought ashley furniture and never had an issue like this with any other store that i have gone to and to be treated like this is uncalled for. I would never recommend anyone to buy anything from them they have horrible customer service and they act like you owe them something. they are giving a bad name to the ASHLEY company. i will not be buying anything else from them. I NEED HELP ME HOWARD TO GET MY MONEY BACK SO I CAN SLEEP IN MY BED AND NOT ON THE FLOOR.... more

They love to screw customers and they are very good at it!! 3/30/2010

I spend about 5k to buy living room couch and dining table. After 10 weeks of purchase they sent me store displays and the dining set chairs were broken. So I requested the replacements. Replacements came after 5 weeks and again store displays were sent. And guess what! One is the replacement chair was broken again. So I took the chair back to the store and I was told replacement will take atleaset 10 more weeks. Its been 9 weeks and I have not heard from them and they dont return or pick up my calls. Please save your time and money and dont buy anything from this store. Manager/ owner is very rude and unprofessional. THIS STORE IS A LIVING HELL for buyrs. Pros: Cheesy talks to trap to in Cons: Everything after you have paid them money is HELL more

They made my home beautiful 3/5/2010

I see that everyone writes to complain, but very few take the time to tell about the good. I had a wonderful experience at 110 Home Furnishings. I purchased three rooms of furniture. The salesman took the time to explain the differences of the leather so that I would select the proper one for my lively family. He spent lots of time(three visits) and was so patient and helped me decorate the rooms properly. Everything came in the time window he quoted and the drivers were wonderful. They even took some of my old furniture to the curb. Since my purchase two family members and one friend have also purchased from them and are extremely happy. They were hands down the best priced out of the stores we shopped. So I say thank you for helping make my home beautiful. Pros: Price, experienced saleshelp, selection, did I mention price Cons: none more

Don't buy anything from Route 110 Furnishings 10/17/2009

Manager made fun of me on the phone, item came broken, cutomer service representative refused to help.... one customer service person said "If it were up to me, I would have never helped you in the first place"! They never return phone calls or answer emails. Have to go to an outside person to repair damage on new item. My curio still has no door attached and no shelves! Pros: There are no pros! Cons: worst customer service ever! Buyer be aware!!! more

I am so surprised by these previous reviews! I read the reviews prior to the end of July, but based on the stores circular, I had already planned on stopping by anyway. I live in the neighborhood, so I went in to comparison shop- I had already been to three other stores. The showroom is beautiful! I was greeted when I walked in, and I was helped by Michael, who was very helpful regarding sizing issues and explaining my different options. I got a great price (based on the three other stores) and had very good service. My livingroom set came within the time they said it would, and I love my new sectional! Bottom line, if I had listened to the past reviewers- I probably would not have shopped there! You can't please everyone- and most people only take the time to 'complain' !! I am sure there are many other satisfied customers out there, otherwise this store wouldnt have been in business for as long as they have. They have been there for a long time, so they must be doing something right! I would definately shop there again. Pros: Great prices, beautiful show room, nice sales staff Cons: None that I found more

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE 7/31/2009

Don't ever buy from this store or their clearance center across the street. We looked for a couch in the regular store but when we told the salesman Neil that we needed a couch right away he told us to go across the street to the clearance center and see Tommy. We did that and found a sectional that Tommy said was available in the "warehouse" and could be delivered in 1 week. After thinking about it considerably, we called and asked if we could purchase over the phone instead of returning to the store. Tommy took our card number charged us for $350 and we never heard from them again. We never signed anything or received an invoice. That was July 6th. As of today we have called them numerous times and every time we call we get another story about delivery. First we were told part of the sectional was in, part wasn't. Tommy said he had no paperwork, call Jennifer or Mona. Jennifer gave us a run around about where it was and when it would be delivered (to make a long story short). After many more calles Mona said it would be 1 to 2 more weeks claiming this was a special order, contrary to what Tommy originally told us. When I requested a copy of the invoice they told me that I would have to come in to sign for it. (Obviously, because they knew that I had signed nothing and they did not have a binding contact with me). I have disputed the charge on my credit card and would NEVER DO BUSINESS with these crooks again. Do not let the friendly sales staff fool you. Their customer service is the worst and one lies and the other swears to it!! They also will never admit WHO is really the manager!! Bad Service, and Very Good At It 7/21/2009

My story is similar to those below. Don't be fooled by the lovely sales people; once they have your money, you deal with delivery and customer service. Much like Merrill Lynch, they are a breed apart. They truly excel at what they do. And what they do is insult you by dismissing any concerns you have before you even finish the sentence. They take pleasure in getting the better of you, in letting you know they have your money and there is nothing you can do except write reviews to warn others not to be fooled like you were. Wondering How Many other Folks Got Burned? 6/1/2009

Minus 5 Star Rating We paid a deposit of $380 on 2/15/09 for a Wesley Allen Hi-Rise Daybed. The salesman told us it would be in in approximately 8 weeks & I had him write that on the docket - he also said that it may be in sooner. On the day before the 8 weeks was up, I went to the store - only to have them tell me that it was on back order at the manufacturers & was going to take another 4 weeks. I called Wesley Allen & they stated that they had no such thing as a back order, that they buy that particular bed in & it usually ships within 10 days of the order. They didn't want to talk to me really & referred me to their local Rep., whom I called & emailed. He told me that he didn't have any order for that particular bed since 2/15 & he also told me that they do not ship goods until the Store pays for them in full. I went back to the Store & insisted that the Manager, Michael write that if i didn't have my bed by 5/14/09 - they would refund my money. He did so & also offered me a discount of $100 for my trouble. The bed never arrived, so we went there on 5/16 & they wrote up a refund for us - but as of this minute we still do not have it. (It was written up 16 days ago) We went back last Saturday & old Michael said we would have it today. I don't think these people have any money. We are disputing the charges with our Credit Card Company & we'll have to take them to small claims court - it seems. They have had our $380 since 2/15/09 & we have nothing. Basically they have stolen our money - they are lliars, crooks & cheats. Don't shop here!!! Pros: Zero Rating more

I Regret Buying From This Company 3/23/2009

Waited 6 months for delivery on couches. They told me it would take longest 3 months. They had scratches on the leather although I purchased the protection plan the company who was hired out by them never came. I waited for them they lied and never showed. As of now I still have the couches with scratches. The customer service "jennifer" is rude and you dont want to have to deal with this company save your money go to Raymour and Flanigan instead. Terrible Customer Service - Would not Recommend if the Furniture was Free 10/14/2008

I would not recommend this store to anyone. We are having massive issues with this furniture company that we bought a sectional couch from. About a month after they delivered it, the frame broke on the couch and we called to have them come look at it - they sent someone to look at it and he said that the frame must have came broken with a split in order for it to have broken so quickly and that we needed new padding in another of the recliners. He said he had to order the parts, and then we don't hear from them for 3 mos. Long story short, this has been going on for almost a year - the couch has been broken since we got it.....and they either don't call us to tell us the parts are in or send someone (the 3rd time was today) and they can never fix it and have to order new part or they just don't fix it, change the repair company, etc. The "manager" Mona is a NIGHTMARE, unhelpful, condescending, rude, and a complete waste of time to speak to. At this point they will be contacted by our lawyer, but I would never recommend anyone to buy anything from this store!!!! The only reason why they are getting one star is because they force me to!! more

Terrible Customer Service!!! 6/18/2008

Ordered a couch that was suppose to be delivered in 8-10 weeks. They lied, Natuzzi takes 14-16 weeks like every honest furniture place said it would, so don't be fooled like I was. March 16 my couch was delivered, two weeks later I notice a rip and the frame was broken. called numerous times and emailed finally after 4 weeks set up an appt for a natuzzi dealer to look at the couch. He said his report has to be in between 24-48 hours. that was the end of april and we are now in the middle of june. I have called and they said they have not received the report. they are such liars. i would not recommend anyone to buy anything from here unless they want to be lied to and wait weeks to speak to customer service. Buyer Beware !!! 3/22/2008

Ordered a bed from them 6 Months ago. They promised delivery is 6 -8 weeks. Required a 50% down payment. All other stores selling the same furniture after explaining the situation are telling us this manufacturer currently delivers that model in under 4 weeks. They refuse to give a refund. They continually promise delivery next week. I got suckered. No choice but to go to small claims court. Cons: They havent delivered anything promised. more

BUYER BEWARE!!! 3/14/2008

Buyer BEWARE! I ordered some furniture and put half down for a deposit on my 0%credit card from Visa. When we got the call that our furniture was in my husband asked if we could come in and pay the balance on our credit card. We were told no that it is illegal to do so? So I called the next day and spoke with the manager who told me that balances are cashiers check or money order ONLY. I explained that I would come in and pay the balance by credit card and he said no. He said it is the way they have it set up with the credit card companies. I wasn't born yesterday so I said I know exactly why you won't take credit cards was because you didn't want to pay the fee to the credit card company. He said "so what is wrong with that if that's the way we want to do business...this is a business we are trying to run." I couldn't believe it. I told him I didn't have that much cash to pay for it and he said you don't need cash you just have to get a money order or a bank check. The only way to purchase those is with CASH or a withdrawal from your account. My furniture was delived about an hour ago and guess what? I ordered two chairs and a couch and the couch was fine but the chairs were the wrong fabric! They were the same faric as the couch but I ordered the coordinating fabric for the chairs. I called the Rt 100 furniture and could not get anyone on the phone. The driver finally got someone on the phone who apologized and said we can keep the chairs while she orders new ones but we still had to pay our balance by the money order that we got. So now we have the wrong chairs and we paid in full and have to wait another 6-10 weeks for the right furniture. She blamed Broyhill for the mistake but the driver said he has never had a Broyhill order be wrong. I think the saleman messed up and they can't even just admit that THEY made the mistake. I will NEVER do business there again and I will make sure that none of my friends or family do business there either. BUYER BEWARE more
