Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Appreciated that they called before they came and told me about what time they would be at my house. They were here at the time they told me. The plumber was very courteous and knowledgeable and the entire repair took less then an hour. more

I would do zero but I had no choice but to do 1 star.\r \r Let's start off with me calling them to my rental property so they could extract water from a leak caused by a water heater. They said they would be there at 8am because they didn't have anyone for the emergency times. 8am turned into 9, that turned into 10 and so on until 4pm when they finally showed up. No apology, no excuses. After they completed their so called work, I had more damage than before they got there. Chipped tile, bathroom vanity destroyed and when they were trying to take off the baseboards, they ripped them off so hard it tore the sheet rock up close to two feet high. I called them and e-mailed them so many times I stopped counting. No response back. I finally sent a certified letter stating if they didn't respond to me within three weeks, I would fly to Austin to take them to civil court. I got a call the day before the three weeks was up. The voicemail stated they wanted to work it out. I called back 5 more times and was sent to voicemail every time.\r \r I flew to Austin last week and filed civilly on them.\r \r Do not hire this company for anything. Shady with no morals. more

Jesus and Jose did a great job for me. They were on time, courteous, and put my rock bed (which they had to dig up to replace the pipes) back looking just as it was before. I called Roto-Rooter about 9 am to schedule service since water was backing up into my toilets and tubs. They promised a technician would arrive between 11am - 2pm and he would call 30 minutes before arriving. About 11:30 someone from the Roto-Rooter office called to let me know the technician was on his way. The technician called about 2 minutes later to make sure he understood the problem I was having and to let me know he was in Central Austin and would be at my home in Round Rock shortly. He arrived about 20 minutes later, close to noon and began working. He cleared the sewage line and by using his camera discovered that the Round Rock city sewage line was broken and no longer fully connected to my home's sewage line, meaning the City was responsible for making the repair at their end. Whew! That was great information and I called the City right away. Andre, my technician, was very polite and explained everything clearly, even showing me the view of the broken pipe through his camera. By 12:40 pm everything in my home was working again and the city was on notice about the broken pipe. I'm so pleased with the service Andre at Roto-Rooter provided and I'll be certain to ask for him the next time I need help. I am a 45 year old single woman in Pflugerville, TX who had a stopped-up kitchen sink. Very frustrating when you are trying to wash pots and pans in a pool of dirty water... I decided I needed a plummer, I called for a Roto-Rooter technician. Andre arrived within 30 minutes of my call, he was courteous, professional, and completed the job in 15 minutes!! I learned I should wipe greasy pots and pans with a paper towel before I wash them in the kitchen sink! We returned home late one afternoon from a long trip to discover our house had flooded. Called Roto-Rooter at 5 pm and they had a technician out by 7 pm to diagnose the problem. Their team arrived the next morning and confirmed the findings then proceeded to fix the leak, performing a re-route. They were professional, kept me informed of their work throughout the day and completed the task. Then they swept up their mess! I was very impressed with the way they did their work, and interacted with me. Roto-Rooter will always be my first call! more

Roto-Rooter was great. They showed up on time. Explained to me the problem I was having in very simple terms since I don't know a lot about plumbing. They gave me options and pricing before any of the work was done. When it was completed the explained to me in great detail my warranty and the price was very reasonable. We were very pleased with Roto-Rooter's (2800 Longhorn Blvd) service, from making the appointment through the repair. When we called to schedule an appointment, our call was promptly answered by a live person. She emailed us confirmation of our appointment within minutes of our call. We then received a call 30 minutes before the technician arrived, notifying us he was on his way. Marc (1075) arrived promptly, was very courteous, listened to our concerns, examined our plumbing needs, discussed pricing (even let us know there was a coupon online we could use), and completed the repair - leaving the area as clean as it was when he arrived. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter (2800 Longhorn Blvd) again as well as recommend them to our friends and family. more

Mark came out to fix my leaky toilet and shower. He was vey polite, prompt and professional. He assessed the issue promptly and fixed the problem very quickly. He even gave me maintenance tips to avoid similar problems in the future. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again! more

Over-Priced. 247 dollars to replace a connection hose to the hot water heater. Don't get me wrong, the tech gave me a price upfront, and stated it would take 30 mins to an hour to do the work. He was done in 10 minutes and still charged me 247.00. I just see how you expect to get repeat business with outrageous prices like that. Will never use them again. more

Way over priced!! Their labor charge was over twice all the other estimates and then there was a lot of extra un- specified expense added in. more

I called Roto-Rooter on a Sunday evening and their technician arrived within 30 minutes. We had to shut off the house's entire water supply to deal with a bathroom leak and faulty internal shut-off valves. Marc was very professional and walked us through all the work he needed to do to get us up and running. Here we were thinking that we would have no water for the next day or so and Roto-Rooter zipped in on a Sunday and had us back in business in a couple of hours. I can not tell you how grateful we are. more

I was told it would be a 2 hour wait before a technician would arrive (12a - 2a) but Matthew arrived 30-45 minutes later with a very professional attitude and pleasant demeanor.
