Over the years, we have used several plumbers in the Jacksonville area and Roto-Rooter is now our first choice. Their technicians have stayed late, worked weekends, and made suggestions to save us money. We will be calling them every time we need a plumber. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers Date of service 20 December 2017 at 1:30pm\r \r I was having the worst week you could have ever imagined. Every time I flushed my toilets, tried to do dishes or laundry, the water and sewage backed up so much that it literally came through my guest bathroom shower head. Sewage backed up into my shower and bathtub through both drains. I had to shower at work. I had another plumbing company scheduled to come, but they kept giving me the run around and not showing up for their appointments so I cancelled them. I called Roto-Rooter and the nicest young gentleman came to my house. He was very polite and knowledgeable in his field. He was respectful and explained what was going on clearly and thoroughly. It actually lightened up my crappy mood. He snaked through my front clean out and removed a bunch of tampons that were causing the blockage and water began to move fast and freely. I was so embarrassed that it was all my fault and the plumber explained it happens all the time. He did an amazing job, great conversation and I learned something too. I would highly recommend utilizing them for any plumbing issues. more

Many thanks to Mr. Rick Layton of Roto-Rooter for washing machine water lines replacement work. He replaced very old water pipes and the faucets in a cramped space in the laundry room. He had to leave and obtain the parts but returned promptly and completed the work quickly. He was very thorough and patient with my elderly mother who wanted him to repeat and explain what he was doing. He also was understanding of her request to remove his shoes inside her house. We appreciate his professionalism and definitely recommend him to all. more

Today Jeff from Roto-rooter in Jacksonville, NC, installed a new water heater for me. He was thorough and very conscientious in his work. He answered all my questions, invited me to check the progress of the installation throughout the process, and was careful of my floor in the kitchen as well. When he completed the job, he cleaned the area. The hot water heater works well, and I'm grateful for Jeff's fine work, good humor, patience, and kindness. more

My plumber, Rick form Jacksonville NC, did an outstanding job! He quickly found the problem and fixed it! It was also fun to talk to and I had a good time chatting with him while he worked and boy did he work hard! When he left I felt like a good friend was leaving and I was sort of sad that I'd hoped not to see him again soon. more

The work that Roto Rooter did was outstanding. They repaired some pipes under the house that had been damaged by another company. The Technician Mr. Layton was great, he explained everything that he found and took pictures so that I could send the picture to the company that had put in the new HVAC ducts, this was a great help in helping me receive a refund from the company that did the work. They gave us a refund in the amount that we had paid Roto Rooter. Mr. Layton was very polite and has great customer service skills and he knew and explained everything that he had done. \r Mr. Layton is a good Plumber here in Jacksonville more

I normally never take the time to write a review for any service but I felt I needed to take the time to do so for the service I received from Roto-Rooter. I noticed my water heater stopped working on Monday morning. I called the office in Jacksonville, NC at 7am and did not expect someone to answer the phone. I was planning to leave a message. However, a nice man answer the phone and took down all my information and promise to give me a call in a few hours when the office opened to set up service. I got a call by 9am stating I would have someone at my house by that afternoon. I had a gentleman named Rick come to my house that afternoon. Very professional, polite and happy to be there. He explained what was wrong and informed me he would be back the next day with a new water heater. He was very empathetic for the fact we did not have hot water, professional and hard working. He finished the job, explained what he did, asked if we had any questions and made sure he cleaned up everything. The area actually look better then when he started the work lol. I was really impressed with how professional Roto-Rooters staff were. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service. Don't hesitate to call them. I would call them again before I call anyone else. Very happy and thankful customer. more

I had been without a washer for 5 days. A guy came looked at the Washer and said it was fine. I had to pay for this. Still no washer he told me to call a plumber. Which I did and was told on the phone they could do nothing. Then my neighbor said call Roto Rooter which I did. Today Jeff arrives at my house and tells me what the problem is after checking things out. Said for him to fix it would cost me $238.00. I said fix it and he did. Jeff was very professional and went straight to work and had the lines unclogged. He had water on the floor which was not his fault due to the clog but he cleaned up after he was done. Most people would have left the mess and said you clean it my job was to fix it and I did. I am so glad I called Roto Rooter and had someone as nice and polite as Jeff. He did not even mind my dogs which was walking around him. If you need something unclogged be sure to call Roto Rooter tell them you want Jeff he will for sure get the job done.
