I stoppeds up my toilet earlier this week. I tried to upstop in myself as well as called someone else to do it with no success. I call Roter-Rooter around 5:30 PM, the representative took my information and scheduled an appointment for the SAME DAY. I received two phone calls to make me aware of the status of my service request. When the Brian (plumber) arrived he was was very courteous and friendly. He analyzed the problem and was able to fix the problem in just a few minutes. He did not leave a mess. I will definitely use this service again, as well as tell others about it. Thanks Brian!!! more

Very positive experience 6/10/2011

A stopped up sink in the kitchen caused us all kinds of grief for 48 hours until I gave in an called for a plumber. They picked up the phone on the second ring, scheduled an appointment FOR THE SAME DAY, and then showed up exactly on time. The plumber was friendly and patient, finishing his work in just a few minutes, tidying up and that was that. Very positive experience...I'm just left wondering how that sock got in the kitchen sink drain! :-) more

I had a problem with a water heater leaking outside the drain pan. I called Roto-Rooter plumbers and really liked their professionalism...within two hours they had fixed teh water heater leak adn also installed and kitchen faucet. For the past two weeks we have had a slow moving toilet that wont drain. We have used Roto-Rooter before on our kitchen sink and really liked their professionalism. I called and within an hour they had someone out to my house to fix the problem (they even gave me a courtesy call to let me know someone was on the way). The technician came out and he was the same guy who had done our sink, that we havent had a problem with since he fixed it, and he got to work. Within 10 minutes the toilet was fixed and he was done. I appreciated the timely manner and the personable approach of this company. I would highly suggest this plumber to anyone in the city of Houston. more

I have been out of town (Houston) on business and when I came home, I saw that I had an issue. I called Roto-rooter Plumbers and they scheduled me right away and had the plumber come over in a very timely manner! The plumber was completed his task quickly and resolved my issue. Great service and very knowledgeable technician ... I would recommend this company to anyone! more

The company was very quick and efficient. I called them later on in the afternoon in the middle of the week and they were at my house within 45 minutes. The plumber, who was very nice, showed up and fixed my clogged drain within ten minutes. Seriously!!!! Would recommend them to anyone. more

We have a problem with a broken sewer line and roots blocking the line. We have been getting several estimates on replacing the broken line. I checked the internet and found Roto-Rooter's web site which mentioned trenchless sewer line repair. Since this would not involve digging up our yard, I decided to call for an estimate. Juan came out at the agreed upon time and managed to correct the immediate problem. At some point in the future we will need to replace a section of the sewer but not right now. My husband and I are a little disappointed that the repair method described on your web site is apparently not available. However, Juan was very helpful and we're happy with the service. more

My garbage disposal quit working last Friday evening, April 29. We called Roto Rooter Plumbers here in Houston and scheduled a service call for Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful to find a service willing to work on week ends and even better, the dispatcher called frequently to let us know the status of our service call. Casey, the plumber who took our call was efficient and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem with the disposal and indicated why it had caused the leak under the sink. Not only did he quickly fix the problem, he gave me some tips on extending the life of my disposal. I was certainly pleased with the quality of the service and impressed with the lines of communication Roto-Rooters maintains with its customers. more

A Plumbing Services that arrives when they say they will! 4/20/2011

How many times have you been told that 'the plumber (or some other service provider) will be there between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., leaving you feeling trapped at home all day? Not Roto-Rooter! Shortly after you place your call, you get an email confirming your appointment, with an estmation of their time of arrival. Then you'll get calls advising that your plumber is 'on the way'. I've used Roto-Rooter for 3 years, now; and have been very pleased with their service overall, but this special service - being aware of, and considerate of my time, is just as important! Pipes are clean 4/18/2011

Had a major issue at a very busy restaurant, and needed fast service involving a two lines being serviced. Dispatcher was prompt and friendly. I received an Email confirming the service call was placed. And another call when the technician was in route. He worked fast, advised me what the probable cause of the blockage. And provided information on products that could help prevent such problems in the future. I doubt I could have gotten such service with another company. more

Wow! What a Plumber! 04/01/2011 4/3/2011

I had a pipe bust in my water heater in the attic! The water had come through the 1st floor ceiling! And it was NO APRIL FOOL'S JOKE! So, I called a few local plumbers after hours but no one picked up. 24hr service Roto-Rooter was on the spot and came as fast as they could get a man over to me, living in Magnolia, Greater-Houston Area. The plumber they sent was extremely knowledgeable. It was as if he had a degree in engineering! With no hesitation he went straight to work, and the problem was solved in less than 1/2 an hour. I could still get back to work in time for 1/2 day (teacher). Thank you, and I'll be calling again when I need a new water heater! more

I was very nervous about having to have a plumber clear my drains. Wasn't sure what the cost would be. I tried to snake it myself first. Wasted that money. They came out and gave me free estimate. I checked a couple of other plumbing companies and they were most reasonable. The plumber not only cleaned the drains, but spent some time with some advice on keeping the drains clean. I would recommen them for plumbing needs. If you're not sure, at least have them come out for a free estimate. more

I was having problems with one of my toilets backing up. I tried everything to fix it myself, but nothing worked. So, I called Roto-Rooter Houston @ 10:30 am to schedule a service call. I received a call shortly after that saying a technician was on the way. By 11:30 am, he was there! He was able to fix the problem in less than 10 minutes. My plumber technician, Jeff, was very professional and friendly and I was very pleased with the service. I would highly recommend them to anyone having plumbing problems in Houston. more

Wow, I was so overwhelmed when our family of 5 found a problem that caused us to not be able to FLUSH, and on a Saturday to boot. We did not realize that our plumbing was dumping out in our backyard (and apparently had been for a few days). We tried to work on it for awhile before realizing we needed help. Made a call to Roto-Rooter HOUSTON and in less than 30 minutes the PLUMBER technician was in our driveway. He was so friendly and helpful and was only here for a short time. Highly recommend calling them first. more
