The technician that worked on our bathroom sink was very friendly and explained the options we could take and approximately what each would cost prior to starting the job. His name is Jed and his ID # is 45-2090. We will definetaly ask for him again if we need to make a service call. Roto-Rooter has always given us very good service. Roto Rooter solved my drain problem 4/6/2010

Roto Rooter Service 4-6-10? - ? - 2010-04-06 Firstly, when I called for an appointment, there was no problem with scheduling the call for my convenience between 8 and 10 the next morning. The office did me the courtesy of calling when the technician was on the way, with an Estimated Time of Arrival, which is always something I appreciate. My Technician arrived when expected and did a great job cleaning and clearing my kitchen drain line. I was also given the advice to use a once monthly drain treatment to minimize future problems. All in all a very good service. Pros: 24-7 service if necessary, Prompt response. Professional Cons: Price is not cheap or negotiable. Some coupons available more

Roto-Rooter Service - February 27, 2010 2/27/2010

Roto-Rooter was at our house within an hour after I made the call on a Saturday morning. The service men assessed the problem, gave us a quote and let us make the decision as to whether we wanted the work done or not...no pressure. No service charge if we chose not to have the work done. They gave us tips on how to keep our drain from clogging up again. We paid more than we expected but needed our sink. They were quick with the work and didn't leave a mess. OVER PRICED 2/15/2010

I called this company to come clear one of our lines that was backing up. The guy shows up and after i explained to him the problem he quoted $301 dollars. i said it was a little high for the type of job and that most ppl would charge maybe $200 at the most. He said well "they're plumbers that work from home" and left. i called another company who is open 24/7 and they got here right away and charged me $59.95 for the same job and with the same warranty. Before hiring these guys please shop around. contact me if you want the name of the other company. Cons: over priced (rip off) more

Roto-Rooter service 12/16/2009

I called Roto Rooter due to a blocked sewer line and was told they could have someone sent right out. Within 30 min the service tech arrived and within 10 min the clog was gone! (YEA!!!!)....He explained how we can prevent the problem from happening again and offered some great tips on monthly maintenence. Pros: Came to the rescue Quickly Cons: None more

My septic line became clogged, and Jeff Sr. with Roto-Rooter came out to the house within 40 min. From start to finish, he walked me through home care with septic, he explained the why and how of every step of each process he did. He was very friendly and patient with my questions. I had a great experience with Roto-Rooter and strongly advise others to use their service. I will continue to use Roto-Rooter if I ever need them. THANKS ROTO-ROOTER! There we were...Water rushing down the street, waiting for service from another major plumbing company; it's Sunday night, getting dark. I call to check why it has taken 4 hours--"Sorry, our guys won't be able to get to you tonight." After jumping up and down for a while, I called Roto-Rooter. Yes! Tonight, Soon! I got a call confirming arrival in 45 minutes. Armando (0538) arrived, cheerful on a cold night, prepared for this emergency, skilled, efficient, friendly. He showed me what was wrong, how to turn the water off at the street level, and how to check for leaks. No need to schedule another appointment, no need to miss work later, showers that night. I was extremely impressed with the timeliness, quality, and cost of my service! I initially called around to a few local plumbers, but since it was Saturday they all wanted to charge me "overtime" rates to have a plumber come out. Roto-Rooter did not charge me any differently because it was Saturday, and was able to come out within 2 hours of when I called! The service rep, Robert, was very courteous, genuine, and trustworthy. My situation was quite complicated, but he was able to solve the problem in an efficient and cost-conscious manner. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to all of my friends and family, and will not hesitate to have them be the first place I call in the future! Pros: 24/7 Service! more

Won't let anyone else touch my plumbing? 9/1/2009

Had a bunch of company in for the Independence Day weekend. The sewer line backed up and my efforts were unsuccessful. I called several companies and no one could help. I called Roto-Rooter and they had someone out in an hour and the fixed the problem. Great service and a great technician. Pros: Quick and efficient service Cons: No Complaints more
